I was surprised when I dropped off my car at my 8:15 am appointment when the service person said he would try to get my car in. I had scheduled it for 8:15. Just because I decided to wait instead of droppi appointment when the service person said he would try to get my car in. I had scheduled it for 8:15. Just because I decided to wait instead of dropping off and come back should not push my service appointment back to whenever a mechanic can get to it. An hour and a half later, the diagnosis was a new gas cap and some sort of solenoid. It would seem to be a quick fix. However, you didn't have the solenoid on site. Part of the reason I took my Chevy there was to ensure they would have all the parts ready that I would need. I was told the part would be there by 1pm and I would be contacted and informed of the work progress. I never received a phone call. At 2:45 I called and asked my service rep how my repair was going. He said he'd check and call right back. 20 minutes later he called to say it was ready. If I hadn't checked on my progress I don't think I would have got a call until several hours later than when I called. Very poor customer interaction. I believe he forgot about my car until I called. There are a lot of other places to get service. More
