Was reminded of the appointment by both email and telephone; received service as soon as I walked in. The oil change and check up was free as this was the first service since purchase and that is company policy. They said it would be done in one hour or less; they were done in 50 minutes. The service advisor, Stacy, was pleasant and professional and clearly knowledgeable. It is a 35 minute drive from home to Luther Honda in St. Cloud but it's worth the trip for good service and work you can trust. More

Excellent Customer Service The team of Dane, Richard, Stacey, Kevin and Carrie did an exceptional job in helping me put four, new tires on my Honda Civic. I called this past We The team of Dane, Richard, Stacey, Kevin and Carrie did an exceptional job in helping me put four, new tires on my Honda Civic. I called this past Wednesday, Dane was able to schedule my car service on Friday, in time for me to make a trip to St. Paul, early afternoon. Richard informed me of the tire special and put together a tire package that would give me good, seasonal tires for a reasonable cost. Stacey coordinated the service, gave me the $60 rebate coupon, and even walked me to my car after the service had been completed. Kevin did the work and included a vehicle inspection. Carrie shuttled me to and from my home. I got home right away after I dropped my car off and was picked up on time to return to Honda to pick up my car. All of the team members were courteous, friendly, and helpful. Everything was time efficient, which helped me keep my own time schedule on track. I have always had good service at Honda, but this particular team really gave the message of what customer service is all about. I give a big, “Thanks,” to everyone! I highly recommend the Honda Service Team to anyone who would like to receive good customer service, and I will definitely return to Honda for my car service in the future. More
Wonderful Honda Experience Employees were great to work with; did not pressure, were organized, efficient, and listened. They presented a low key but professional atmosphere wh Employees were great to work with; did not pressure, were organized, efficient, and listened. They presented a low key but professional atmosphere which made purchasing a new car a positive and comfortable experience. The agency offered an excellent price for the two cars we traded in when purchased the new Honda. Again we did not have to undergo intense negotiations, the value offered for the traded in cars was reasonable, fair, and presented from the start. We have used the service department with prior Hondas we owned and found the same organization, listening, and efficiency with service personnel. Bruce and Ann M. More
Smug, condescending and shady Sales Manager BUYER BEWARE of dishonest Sales Manager! Steer clear of this dealership if you're looking for a used car because the Pre-owned Sales Manager will t BUYER BEWARE of dishonest Sales Manager! Steer clear of this dealership if you're looking for a used car because the Pre-owned Sales Manager will try to bait and switch you right out from under the sales person you worked out a deal with!! He will lie and play games, and treat you like you are stupid. Just a little background. I have been in the market for a pre-owned 2014 Chevy Cruze with low mileage and a few specific features for the past week. Most importantly, I have been saving CASH over several months for the purchase. I had 2 cars sold out from under me and the Internet Sales person at 2 different dealerships earlier in the week, and the reason I mention them is that in both cases, I negotiated a deal for sticker price plus sales tax (other fees waived). Each of the cars that were sold before I could get to the dealership were under 20k miles. Listed at 13,999 and MN tax is 6.5% so final negotiated price was $14,900 for both separate deals I had with the Internet Sales person, but were then sold unexpectedly by the on the lot guys. Twice this happened. Crushing. I thought i learned my lesson and when I saw the exact year, model, color, Chevy Cruze with most of the features I was looking for, I jumped on it. Even though the car at Luther Honda of St. Cloud was 20k miles more than the same year and model cars I'd negotiated list price + tax ($14,900 out the door) on, and lacked the sunroof feature, I was excited about the car, and honestly ready to be done with the exhausting car shopping process. I submitted a message request through the dealership's Contact Us page around 7PM Thursday evening, and since I learned from experience that some Internet Sales person's days ended at 5PM at other locations, I followed up with a phone call directly to the dealership based on the auto response email I received. I called and asked for Chris Peterson, who was the contact name given in the email automated response as the Preowned Sales Manager. I was told that this person was no longer employed there, so I asked for anyone in Preowned Sales. I was connected with ADAM. There is a reason I have his name in caps as he still conjures emotions of rage for me. When I talked to ADAM on the phone, I explained to him which vehicle I was interested in. That I'd put in an internet request but since my experience earlier in the week and worrying that the Internet sales person was gone for the day, that I wanted to be proactive and call. I explained I was highly motivated to buy, at which point he cut me off and told me that he'd have to go check and make sure there were no holds or deposits on the vehicle before he talked to me. I gave him my number to get in touch with me before 8PM. In the meantime I received an email from the Internet Sales Manager, Scott Kennedy, with information about the car. I was replying to him via email that I'd just spoken with Adam, when Scott called me. Scott was kind, considerate and patient in letting me explain my car buying failures over the past week. I asked him for the same deal I'd negotiated before....list price + sales tax which worked out to be a little less than $14,900, dealer/document/license fees waived. I reiterated $14,900, maximum out the door price. He told me he'd confirm with his Sales Manager but didn't see a problem with my fair offer. Scott and I agreed that I would drive an hour away, and meet him in the morning as soon as they opened their doors. That he would let me know if there was an issue with my offer. I told him that if I saw the car was accurately represented on their website, I would find the nearest Wells Fargo and return with a cashiers check for $14,900. Finally. I was excited. I'd done my homework. I'd given my best price that was MORE than fair for a car with almost 38k miles. I had a plan to be there before ANY other buyers could get the car. it was a done deal...boy was I wrong. I texted Scott at 7:30AM to tell him I was on my way and would be there when they opened. He texted me back that he'd pulled the car to the front and had the keys in his pocket. After I met Scott, drove the car, found a couple of minor problems, but nothing that was a deal breaker, we went inside to do the paperwork. He put my information in and then told me that he had to just wait for the Sales Manager, who agreed to no extra fees, to tweak the sales price to make the out the door price of $14,900. He was confident, and honest, with absolutely zero deception. As we're chatting and waiting, in walks ADAM. Young, smug, condescending ADAM. Who then put an invoice in front of me for $15,313. Both Scott and I were surprised by this. Adam would not budge and first "offered" to put the extra on my credit card for me. Then tried to sell me a car 2 years older with twice the miles that was "more in my budget". I was being jerked around, and disrespected by Adam. Even Scott confided that he had no idea what Adam was doing, that he'd agreed to $14,900 out the door the night before. I'd had enough when Adam started trying to "educate" me on the Cruze market (the one I'd been diligently researching for months) and told me that the market values were actually on the rise for used 2014 models...with almost 38,000 miles on them...Ok, buddy. After coming back with a different dot matrix printed invoice with a price of $15,223 (I saw he had changed the $350 "estimated" license fee from the original invoice to the actual $266 cost), and then circled a random -$132 number to "show" me he was losing money on the deal. So after reducing the original high ball $350 estimate license fee (that was supposed to be waived anyway), to the actual $266 cost, now it's a losing money deal? I can do math, it's not hard, and I'm not stupid. Adam was playing games with the wrong customer, so I left. All for what amounted to $323 that I refused to pay. By the way,Adam, when a customer makes a very fair all cash deal over the phone, and you mark the price up after they drive an hour and walk through the door, asking them to pay for the mark up by "throwing it on a credit card", is ignorant. Sure guy, I just spent months saving up almost $15,000 in cash so I wouldn't have to finance a car...let me just throw whatever fees you you tell me on a 19% interest rate credit card! Smart? No.It's also pretty clear to anyone with half a brain that you are playing games when everything out of your mouth sounds like something you read in How to Sell Used Cars 101 for Dummies. More
