Dear wwb4, My name is Jesse Lehman and I am a co-founder of MB Motorsports. I wanted to immediately reach out to you after reading the review of your experience at our dealership and with Justin. First off I'd like to sincerely apologize for your experience. Our business is based on keeping prospective and loyal customers happy. In your case we have certainly failed. Our Company Policy as to when a customer asks to have a vehicle inspected by a mechanic is to always allow it, no matter what circumstance. Justin knows this and I really don't understand his logic on this one. It is also definitely not Justin's place to "decide weather this is the right vehicle for you" . That is your decision, not Justin's. If I were you I would also question if business is to good at our dealership after your experience. I can assure you that it isn't, and every customer and sale counts to me. I'll have to make sure Justin has the same beliefs as after reading this it seems as if it doesn't. I promise you my partner and I will have a serious talk with Justin to make sure this never happens again! Moving on, If there is any way you will give me the chance, I vow to make this a better experience for you. My wife and I drove an XC90 for 5 years and I am very familiar with Volvo's. It was the car we chose to own after having our first child, knowing they are the safest out there. I also know of the downfalls of them, like the transmission issue. If you haven't found a XC90 yet, i would like to offer to have the car brought to a local Volvo dealer and have and inspection done on it for you. We will pick up the cost! Mr. Lehman, I appreciate your prompt response and attention to this matter. It really means a lot for one of the owners to step up and try and right a wrong. Moving on, I too am looking to purchase a XC90 for our family's first child. I also appreciate the fact that you previously owned a XC90 so you know a little bit about the vehicles (and the transmissions are definitely known fail items). I would definitely like to take you and your dealership up on the offer for a PPI done at your local Volvo dealership as I am still searching for a XC90. What would be the next step to move forward? Will, I can have the car brought to Red Bank Volvo. Looking at the carfax it seems best to bring it there. They have serviced the car numerous times and they probably know the car well. I called their service department and they can see the car on Monday if that is ok for you. Give me the go ahead and I'll schedule it for Monday and also put the car on hold for you, no deposit, until 24 hours after we get the report back from Volvo. That way you have a day to make your fully informed decision. Does all this sound ok? Jesse
