I noticed online a Dodge Stratus used for sale for a reasonable price. I called to inquire about the car and was connected to Jason Lomabrd, who informed me he knew nothing of the car and would look int reasonable price. The next day I called at 10am and he still could not find it promising a call back in 15 minutes, 3 hours later no call, so I yet again called back only to be directed to his voicemail, which was full and I could not leave a message. At this point I called back asking for a manager and Paul picked up the phone I explained the issue and what I was looking for and he said would call back in 15 minutes, in 10 minutes he called back saying car was sold. Not sure why it took Jason 2 days to get nothing and Paul only 10 minutes to find this information. Paul then directed me to an affiliate dealership across the street offering another vehicle. I then purchased a car at a competitor that weekend. Three days later Paul called me asking, and I quote "Chris its Paul where are you?" To which i answered at work, his response at this point was "I figured that out, I meant with buying a car" When I informed him I purchased a car he responded by saying "okay fine" and hung up. To me they droped the ball in a big way and I would never recommend anyone coming here for a vehicle let alone a battery. Jason's lack of product knowledge was appaling, I suppose if I was asking about a 20k vehicle as opposed to a 5k vehicle he would have found it in 5 minutes. I feel as though I was treated based on the amount of money I was looking to spend not as a potential and future customer. More

My external financing fell through, and as such, so did the Tahoe deal. In an act which smacked only of retaliation, the dealer held ALL the funds, refusing to refund them until the vehicle was sold. There was never a reason for this, and it was NO part of the contract. The general sales manager had neither the common sense nor the courtesy to return my call, and no one above the level of the business manager would talk to me. Six weeks later the funds were credited. And though I don’t know for sure, I suspect that took place only after I reached out to a Chevrolet zone manager. In the past I had dealt with this dealer for servicing of a previous vehicle, and they had always been fair to deal with. But then, that’s the service end of the business. The dealership itself is a very decent facility. The sales consultant and the business manager were both decent guys, though it was clear that the latter became particularly frustrated with the whole process of me trying to get the money back. But as to ethics in business in the sales end of MacMulkin Chevrolet, caveat emptor: let the buyer beware. More

I have my car serviced at MacMulkin (Nashua, NH) dealership for the CUE system upgrade and the shifter recall fix. But after several days, they charged my about $15 dollars on the gas. I don't mind to pay for the gas, but they way they charge me make my so angry, 1. the service manager said I don't need to do this. 2. I return the car on Thursday afternoon around 3:00pm, why they don't charge me when I was there. 3. when I got the rental car, the fuel tank is almost empty, how can they charge me more than they had? I would not recommend this dealership to anyone according to their bad service and attitude to customer. More

Service visit for an oil change. Schedule appointment for 3pm. Showed up, could not figure out where to go. Finally found service department desk, 2 people working. 1 was a trainee so Noreen had t for 3pm. Showed up, could not figure out where to go. She never explained any paperwork and had me sign indicating I authorized them to do the service. This paperwork didn't even have the price I would pay on it, glad I looked before I signed. The price was $34.95 for an oil change! Pretty high, but I needed one done, so I went through with it. I asked Noreen how long this would take. She replied "about 40 minutes". Well, long time for an oil change for an appointment I was scheduled for. I went to the "customer lounge" at 3:10pm. A room with a TV, and some very uncomfortable chairs. Not what I would consider a lounge. At 3:35, decided to stretch my legs. My car was still in the same place I parked it. Looks like that 40 minute estimate was too short! At 4:25, 1 hour and 15 minutes after I arrived, I streched my legs again. My car was now parked outside the service door, my paperwork and keys sitting on the service associates desk, nobody to be found anywhere. At 4:45pm, I had to hunt down someone so I could get my car keys and pay. Total: 1 Hour 40 minutes for an oil change. Never, never again. Go somewhere else. Not what I would expect from a $34.95 oil change. More

Originally I towed my car to MacMulkin because of an electrical issue. Two days later I saw smoke and smelled rubber coming from the hood near the radiator. I towed my Cadillac back to dealership. Afte electrical issue. Two days later I saw smoke and smelled rubber coming from the hood near the radiator. I towed my Cadillac back to dealership. After one hour. of diagnosis at $98 they stated I need a new water pump at a cost of $500 and new head gasket $3500/$4000 for a total cost over $4K. I towed car to my mechanic who found that the upper rail hose was chaffing against the water pump belt and spraying the water pump and train housing. He replaced the upper hose. Are the mechanics at MacMulkin that incompetent or did they just want to screw a female consumer? There is a big difference between replacing a hose or replacing a water pump. This dealership has screwed me with a misdiagnosis and report of my vehicle! Highly recommend that you DO NOT take your vehicle to MacMulkin Chevrolet. I will ensure to tell all the military folks and personnel I know at Hanscom AFB about the service I received! More
