Crooks Purchased what was suppose to be a certified pre-owned Cadillac SRX. I also was sold the extended warranty (stupid me I guess) the dealer never certif Purchased what was suppose to be a certified pre-owned Cadillac SRX. I also was sold the extended warranty (stupid me I guess) the dealer never certified my vehicle with GM and when I went to get a noise checked out at another Cadillac dealership they informed me my vehicle was not certified. When I picked up the car the floor liner was damp, I asked if this could be addressed before I picked the car up and they claimed it was. ( it wasn't). The sales person stated that someone left the windows open( also a lie) SRX had a recall with moonroof drains that leaked inside vehicle. I took car back 4 times before it was fixed. I spoke with a manager about my car not being certified he told me "well because you purchased the extended warranty we did not feel like you needed a certification" complete xx. When you buy a pre owned certified Cadillac you expect it to be certified. The sales managers are complete snakes, anything to make a sale, even lying. I will be getting an attorney as they refuse to call back and fix the issue. More

Then I talked price with Mike who was straightforward and fair. When it came time to pick up the vehicle, my sales consultant was Mat. He's the best car salesman I've ever met, hands down. Easy to get along with, honest, and willing to help with anything I needed (including a ride to the dealership after dropping off a rental car which I drove to the area). He also wanted to be sure the vehicle was exactly what I thought it was (since I hadn't seen it in person). When we walked back to his desk, he had all the paperwork ready to go and we were done closing the deal within 30 minutes. He even had the temporary tags I requested already on the vehicle. The vehicle was well detailed and "ready for delivery". Overall, an excellent car buying experience thanks to Mat, Mike, and Kristin. More

Every hour or two someone would come by with some lame excuse about how the one guy who could do the job was busy and it would be another hour. Of course if it's just an hour"I'm not going to leave and waste even more time coming back another day. So I stay put, and keep waiting. When the sun came down I got tired of waiting, asked the reception desk what the status was. Apparently it was already done. Massive bill (as expected from a dealer, but my experience with dealers is they aren't as hit-and-miss as a random mechanic, so the cost has served as a guarantee), and the inspection failed, so I'd have to come back (yeah right). When I asked how that happened, I was shocked. They did the inspection first. Found a problem. Charged me for the inspection and then failed me. Then during the service they fixed the problem. The reception desk didn't apologize. xxxx, they didn't even try to sympathize. I expect you can guess my reaction to their suggestions of other "sevices" they could provide. I took my business to Gurney's and have been happy ever since. More

Bad customer servise I have bought several cars from Mac mulkin chevy. On my last oil change when I got home there was oil all over the top of the motor I called the owners son Tommy Jr. And gave him a heads up he said he would look into it and get back to me! He never did !! To make a long story short I have never been treated so bad in my life Tommy didn't care he blew it off he said it was no big deal etc!!! xxx. I have all the text messages saved on my cell I will never revert go back there Tommy jr should not be dealing with customers he gas no people skills at all!!!!!!! More

I was totally ignored by the sales staff and left to wander on the sales floor. This is the 4th time in 10 years that I was turned off by a bad attitude or too much ego on the sales floor. I complained to the dealership and received a heated patronizing reply. The e-mail was basically chastising me for being upset and making a lot of excuses for their staff. MacMulkin Chevrolet has the best cars and also the highest prices anywhere. This is the 4th time that I left their dealership for one reason or another. I bought a car elsewhere again and at a better deal. I will never be back! Note: The other dealerships I've gone to have always gone out of their way to be helpful and to take care of their customers even when the sales staff was very busy or unavailable at the time. More

Worst Service at a dealership I have ever received. 4/19- Walked into MacMulkin after being highly referred by an ex-employee. The goal was to check out a certain used car on the lot and hopefully firm up a deal upon getting a chance to drive the vehicle. I was brought upstairs by a referred technician who had vouched for me as a serious customer. Upon meeting Jesse, the salesman- who honestly, had very poor interpersonal communicating skills,brought me to the vehicle. The battery on the car was dead, making me wonder why it's out in the lot? I asked if he could figure something out and get the car charged so I can test drive it and check out all the other options the car has to offer. He brings me upstairs to look at another Corvette Z06, I was able to sit in it and check out the interior options. He then proceeds to ask his "boss" by the name of Tom, who had 1st eyed me and my friend down as if we were inferior and out of place being on the 2nd floor of his corvette showroom. Jesse comes back saying Tom simply said the only way I would get to test drive the car is if all the paperwork was written up, deal closed, and on the day of pick up- Otherwise I was not eligible to test drive the car. Mind you, I had over three thousand dollars in my pocket to leave as a deposit and if I truly liked the car would have been a smooth cash transaction. (Just recently sold my other hobby vehicle). The best part is, which I didn't believe was "Tom" had already been mentioned to me as being a cocky xxxxx- and to stay away from when I went to MacMulkin. I guess being the owner's son has your ego stuck in your a**. I was treated as if I was a child inside this place. A serious buyer looking for a car stereotyped as a tire kicker coming in for joy rides. I will never step foot in this dealership again. It's a shame people still think we live in the 1990s. Lost a customer for life. More

I just purchased a 2012 Chevrolet Traverse. I had stopped in at McMaulkin a month or so earlier looking for a Traverse with low miles. Destiny Doyon did a good job following up with me and gave me a call when a Traverse came in that I may be interested in. Previously, when I had stopped in I had not gotten any calls back about potential vehicles. We took the 2012 Traverse for a test drive and on a Tuesday or Wednesday and were repeatedly told by Destiny that we would be able to pick it up on Saturday. We were having leather installed and were told it was a quick turn around. I did feel that Destiny and her manager tried to get me into the Traverse for a price that I was looking for whether or not it was reasonable, who knows? I'm not in the car business. Communication seemed to go well until my husband signed the paper stating we wanted to buy the car and put money down. Then the communication seemed to lag. I had to make a lot of follow up calls about financing and when the car was going to be ready, which turned out to be about 6 days later than what we were originally told. When I went to do the paperwork I was directed out of the main building and that I needed to go to the "used car" building which is cold, barren and desolate. It was not the place where we first discussed the car and pricing. I guess they keep the nicer spaces for the people buying "new." The leather was installed by a contractor and overall it looked nice but there was a defect that needed to be fixed which Destiny was ready to brush off until I pushed the issue and she got the contact information from her manager. I had not received the Carfax from Destiny as I had previously asked and refused to sign anything before I saw it. Previously, when I had asked her about it she said the Carfax was clean when in fact it had been rear ended. It was a minor accident and nothing noticeable on the car, but it left me feeling uneasy. Destiny assured me that McMaulkin is family orientated and they want you to recommend them to your friends and family, but my feeling was that they really don't care they just want to get their cars off the lot. The SUV was vacuumed but not detailed nicely. There was still cereal under the seats. I understand it's a used vehicle but a dealership can still have some pride in their work. I've purchased cheaper vehicles from other dealerships that treated me in a way that I would have wanted to return. I'm actually a bit nervous about bringing my car to McMaulkin for servicing if it needs it. I did buy the extended warranty but it might just give me piece of mind to bring it elsewhere and pay the $100 deductible. My husband will be looking to buy a Cadillac in a year or two, but I think we will be returning to Olsen Cadillac. I do have to say that Destiny was always nice and professional even though I'm sure she was annoyed by my persistence about the car details. More
