As soon as I walked through the door the staff was very friendly. Derek Smith, my sales consultant was very professional and helpful as well as his general manager. This was the best experience by far. I have been a customer at Mall Chevrolet since 1997, purchasing and also receiving maitenance of my vehicle. I am always pleased with the extended customer service. During this last experience JJ made me feel right at home, taking the time to inquire about my needs and what I was looking for in a new vehicle and not concentrating on making a sale. He took the time to explain what the Cruze offered and all of it's benefits. It is my opinion JJ is an asset to Mall Chevrolet and should be utilized as the poster child for all orientation's specializing in customer service. It is not an easy task dealing with the general public, especially when your livelihood could depend on it. I could have gone to any dealership in New Jersey or Phildelphia. I liked dealing with Jim B because he wasn't your "typical pushy car salesman". He gave me room to look around & did not try to make me purchase something I wasn't comfortable with. Karl worked with us to find a car to replace our chevy truck. He was extremely helpful and we felt that he went that extra mile to help us find a car that was right for us. Karl and the dealership worked hard to get us a great deal and never gave us the impression they were to busy for us or had another customer waiting that was more important or that we were taking to much of their time. It was almost like they were all making sure we got their best. I stopped in with a question the next day and didn't even get in the show room before someone was there to answer my question. Karl got us the best deal we could find, and we did try another chevy dealer. Mall Chevrolet had a great selection and we tried more than one car. We were able to test drive the car we wanted and decide that day to deal with them. In the future there is no doubt that we will go back there for car needs. The friendly and knowledgeable service makes us feel confident that we choose the right place to shop. The people in the maintenance department were friendly and explained their position. The dealership was clean, bright, friendly and had a good selection and a comfortable waiting area for service. It was a great experience and I would recommend them to friends and family. More
1st - My 82yr old father purchased a 2013 Malibu. He was initially told a price of $10,000 for his trade-in and when the paperwork was completed a price of $7,500 was given instead. My father was unable to tell me why there was a difference in price. He said he asked the salesman why and was not given or perhaps does not remember the reason for this. 2nd - I purchased a 2005 Malibu in 2007 and my father was co-signor on the loan. On multiple occasions, different types of advertisements, special deals and such have been mailed out. These mailings were addressed to him and sent to his home address and not mine (the owner of the vehicle). I made a couple of phone calls to your dealership to have this corrected but to no avail. I then came in to have this problem resolved and thought I had done so, but was disappointed when more mailings came to the right address but in his name. I have now received at my home address a letter addressed to my father thanking me for the purchase of the 2013 Malibu. It was my father who purchased the vehicle, but he does not live at my address. Please have your records fixed to show the correct name (James Twist) and address (should be on the paperwork of the purchase) for any future correspondence. Thank You. More
