Acceptable service I have been having my F-150 serviced here for the past 8 years. Overall I have been happy with the service I have received. My one big complaint is that even with an appointment and just getting an oil change it takes hours. I hate wasting half of a Saturday or using a half of a vacation day just for an oil change. It would be nice if they could guarantee a half hour or less or even an hour or less. I was also a little disappointed when I came in to get my battery that was under warranty replaced and the advisor initially said that he couldn’t find where I had purchased the battery there and then after clearing that up he tried to charge me $29.98 for “battery service” when it was supposed to be a free replacement. That experience has resulted in a loss of trust. More

Lackluster care My service rep informed me that my F150 with less than 100K miles has a cracked piston skirt, requiring engine replacement or rebuild. When I tried to get answers regarding the details of the problem and options for moving forward, I could not get a return call. I did not receive a call for nearly a month while I left my truck in the Ford service lot. I found it odd that I would receive such devastating news with no follow up about when I might pick up my vehicle or how I might choose to proceed. I did not approach the dealership with much trust but what little I had is gone. One very bright spot in my experience was with Alan. I had another sales rep (Stevie, Chuckie, or similar “...ie” name) who showed very little care for my situation ( or doing a diligent job) but Alan took the time to help me retrieve my vehicle and answered many of the questions I had been collecting since receiving the news. Alan showed me there is hope for your service department. I took the death of my truck in stride but the lackluster service I initially received was the real shock. I would give Alan 5 stars if possible. I was lucky to encounter him. The standard experience I would have had without Alan is 1 star since that is as low as I can rate it. More
