My husband and I were in Malloy Toyota this past week, looking for a used vehicle within our budget...we had the opportunity to work with a couple of really wonderful men. Mr.Linn ( internet sales manager) and Mr. Tom Shields ( Toyota salesman) Both of these gentlemen were fantastic.
Toyota couldn't give me a complete pay off for my trade-in...and I couldn't afford to have the roll-over, as we were leaving a man sitting at a desk, ask my husband what we were gonna do with a vehicle that had 120000 miles on it? my husband replied ..drive it. Now, mind you, our trade in was a 2010 TOYOTA Prius !!! He (the man behind the desk...who , we found out later..is named Scott) continued to talk very loudly and tell us, our car was no good, it had too many miles on it and we NEEDED to take the deal we were offered !!! it ended up... a yelling match between my husband and Scott .. as I was walking out the door , in tears !!! The salesman ( Tom) followed me out the door, to apologize, for the 3rd time. I felt bad for Tom, as he had nothing to do with the situation that unfolded. There were other customers in the showroom, who heard everything being said....Scott down grading my Prius , very un-professionally !! I did receive a phone call the next day from the sales manager Michael Helms apologizing about the day before. But...as far as I am concerned...I will never recommend this dealership to any of my family or friends !!! at least not as long as "Scott" is working there !! And I will let everyone I know how I was treated there.!!! With that all said and done....I still love Toyota...and will purchase another one....Just not at this dealership....which is very sad, because I always try (if possible ) to buy locally !!!
