Too Pricey, and Suspect by Past Experience of Incompetence I was having trouble getting immediate service by a non-Honda mechanic near home in Healdsburg, so I came to Manly, Santa Rosa, where my 2000 Insight I was having trouble getting immediate service by a non-Honda mechanic near home in Healdsburg, so I came to Manly, Santa Rosa, where my 2000 Insight has an extensive file of past service records. The shocking estimate of about $700 parts and labor for replacement of my rear hatch-latch mechanism was beyond the pale, and I have decided to find some way other than Manly "parts-changing" to keep the rear hatch securely closed, e.g., having the existing mechanism removed, lubricated, and returned to functionality - a strategy probably NOT as profitable as accepting the $700 overcharge if the customer will uncritically pay. (My previous Manly incompetence was the recommendation that my A/C compressor be changed out, whereas the only defect was that it was low on fluid - discovered and corrected by my Healdsburg mechanic.) I must say José (Isn't there an José in Service?) was a great advisor, and he served me well while I was absent on honeymoon. Bill Robertson too has served me well in the past. More
pleased with my purchase After doing a lot of research of Honda vs Toyota, I just purchased a new Cr V. I am very happy with my new car from Manly Honda. After doing a lot of research of Honda vs Toyota, I just purchased a new Cr V. I am very happy with my new car from Manly Honda. More

As so many times before, the appointment was tailored to fit my schedule, the work was performed to my complete satisfaction and for a very reasonable cost. The car was ready for me to pick up at the time as promised and kept ‘purring’ along just like new afterwards. For well over ten years, my wife and I have totally relied on our Honda CR-V for all of our transportation needs with great satisfaction. A major portion of this can be credited to the superb quality of our Honda product. However, I am certain that due to the proactive, timely and professional implementation of our car’s maintenance work by David Ashby and his team at Manly Honda we can enjoy our driving activities in a safe and fun way! I found David to be a real ‘people person’, technology expert and top job coordinator! I fully appreciate and recommend David Ashby and his co-workers at Manly Honda without any reservations to keep anyone’s Honda car in road-worthy and top driving condition! Be happy with ur CRV! More

Took FOREVER and COST ALMOST TRIPLED I turned in my car on a Friday, and Dave asked if it would be possible to keep it overnight?. He told he would contact me by 3 pm to let me know wha I turned in my car on a Friday, and Dave asked if it would be possible to keep it overnight?. He told he would contact me by 3 pm to let me know what they needed to do. I agreed and figured I would be without a car for the weekend. Three o'clock came and no word. I finally got a hold of Dave around 3:45 and the price I was quoted for fixing my door had gone from$145 to $720. I asked if they had broken the door panel, which had been a possibility, and was told no. They had found an issue I had been wondering about and the cost to fix that was a lot, but necessary. Monday came and went and still no car. I had to do all of the calling to find out what the status was. Finally fixed Thursday and I almost missed my birthday dinner.i was without a car for a week and was offered a discount on renting a courtesy car which kind of angered me because when I was researching where to get the car serviced, I was told a courtesy car was an option, free of charge as long as I had full coverage insurance. The fact that they had my car a week should have been all the more reason to loan me a vehicle. All told, the bill was almost $1800 and I was inconvenienced for 4 extra days. More
