Great but Slow I called to set an appointment for my oil change. I arrive at the appointed time and was greeted warmly. After checking in I was directed to the waiti I called to set an appointment for my oil change. I arrive at the appointed time and was greeted warmly. After checking in I was directed to the waiting area. I was a bit surprised that I had to wait to talk to the next person for 15-20 minutes since I had an appointment. I wasn't upset, I had plenty of time I was a bit surprised that no acknowledged the wait. Sometimes things happen and we get behind, but this seemed to be the standard mode of operation. I was told my car would need the oil change and tires rotated and a recall service. I was a little surprised at the additional expectations, but once the odometer reading was taken it became clear the tire rotation could wait. The recall could take an additional hour but I had the time so I gave the approval. In the end, the oil change and the recall service only took an hour. The waiting area is great and comfortable, the service seems to be completed well so I am happy with the service. The process seemed to take more time than necessary but maybe that was to give the "Upgrade Team" a chance to try to sell me a new car when all I really wanted was an oil change. More

2007 Honda Repair of Broken Trunk Spring As soon as the trunk spring broker, which scared the heck out of my husband and me, we drove over to Manly Honda. First stop was the Parts Department As soon as the trunk spring broker, which scared the heck out of my husband and me, we drove over to Manly Honda. First stop was the Parts Department to find out what we do. There were two service people, one named Mario but I didn't catch the others name, who helped us. They took over and first looked in the trunk to make sure what part was needed, and then found one spring available and immediately put a hold on it. The next step was making an appointment with the service department and we were able to come in the next day at 1:30 p.m. That appointment went smoothly with Tim, who came over to where we were sitting and proceeded to take over with getting the service done quickly. We were very pleased with this service visit. Thank you. More
Terrific service! I took my 2005 Accord in for oil change, transmission fluid change, and 4 new tires with alignment. I figured it would take till noon or 1pm. About 8 I took my 2005 Accord in for oil change, transmission fluid change, and 4 new tires with alignment. I figured it would take till noon or 1pm. About 8:45-8:50 I received a text message from Bill Petty-service advisor, that there was a problem with torn compliance bushings. He had also attached pictures with the text so I could see the bushings-I really appreciated that as I was able to visually see them. He told me the addidional cost and that it would also add additional time. So I was now figuring it would take just about the afternoon to finish. Around 11:30, I was looking out front and I saw my car being parked. I walked out to make sure it was my car(it was). I saw it had the new tires, but I wasn't sure it anything else was done. So I went back inside to fine the service advisor to check with him, but he wasn't there. After about 5-10 mintutes, Bill Petty came in from outside & said I have good news, your car is done. I paid the bill and was out the door by 12:00. I'm not sure how or what was done to expedite getting done , but It sure helped me out as I had other things to get done that day. Bill Petty and mechanics, TERRIFIC SERVICE! Thank You. More
Great can do attitude Jose was awesome. The dealership is awesome. The day did not start well. I asked the initial advisor to call me prior to the service as I was dr Jose was awesome. I asked the initial advisor to call me prior to the service as I was driving ~50 miles for the service and I wanted to make sure all the parts are in stock, plus I wanted to make sure it is wise to drive up to Manly (past 2 other Honda dealerships). The advisor never called, and brushed off the non-calling as standard practice. The part was not in stock. Needless to say I was not happy. Jose to the rescue. After taking over from another advisor he quickly assessed the problem and resolved the issue. Very good communication. Very good listener. Practical problem solver ... and he even streamlined the paperwork at the end of the process to allow me to leave earlier. I was very impressed with his efforts to find a solution. He worked with the service manager to resolve the issue. In the process probably costing the dealership extra expense, but it gained a lot of goodwill from me. I will always ask for Jose. I don't now what the right answer is for you, but if the service is always like the service I received from Jose I will always have to consider Manly as my service option even if it means driving past 2 other Honda dealerships. That says a lot after I more or less promised myself that I'm done with Manly after the of consideration and ownership of the situation by the first advisor I worked with. More
