I recently had my 2017 Honda Fit serviced at your dealership and I must say I was quite taken aback by the cost. Nearly 2,000 dollars for a vehicle with 90k miles and no significant issues outside of dealership and I must say I was quite taken aback by the cost. Nearly 2,000 dollars for a vehicle with 90k miles and no significant issues outside of wiper blade repair seemed excessive to me. Additionally, the diagnostic conducted during the visit did not provide a proper explanation or common sense reasoning for all the services that were conducted. I understand the importance of routine maintenance but as a customer, I want to feel like I am informed about the services being done on my vehicle. The service advisor just started attacking on unnecessary services. I mentioned to the service attendant that I avoid dealership services because of the tendency to overcharge, which I avoided, only doing basic fluid services at the quick lube places. However, despite my concerns, I left with services that I felt were not needed. For instance, I was charged $900 for a valve adjustment on my small 4-cylinder car, which seems excessive. Furthermore, a wheel alignment was done even though the diagnostic test showed only one tire to be .1 degrees off camber, and the car wasn't pulling or misaligned at all. As a loyal Honda customer, I trusted your dealership to fix only what needed fixing. Instead, I feel like every service in the book was conducted solely based on the fact that it had not been done before. I was taken advantage of and provided services my car did not need. It is disappointing to feel like I cannot trust your dealership to provide honest and quality service. My expectation is that my car would be assessed and I would be contacted and notified which services were absolutely necessary. Instead I was charged for services my car did not need. More
