It is unfortunate that you feel this way. We have certainly tried to satisfy you with a good service experince. When you came in for an oil change, we removed the drain plug and the threads came out with it. We offered to show you what happened, but you declined stating we had over tightened the plug when putting it back together. We offered to show you we did not even have the filter off and we were not going back together when it happened. As you state in your review that this could only happen with "over tightening" and that was from the shop that did the prev oil change. Kolar in Duluth just serviced it last and if anyone is responsible it would be them. You have never been here before. Your vehicle has 175,000 miles on it and if the oil has been changed every 5000 miles, that plug was taken out 45 times. Plugs do wear out, gaskets break down and threads stretch over use. We hope we can work toward satisfy you as we focus on our commitment to provide the highest quality products and services in the automotive marketplace with honesty, integrity and absolute commitment to our customer's total satisfaction!

received a private message from dave rikess general manager of maplewood toyota. he stated that this is not how they do business. i sent him all e-mails from service manager russ that showed he had repeatedly lied to me and blamed other parties for their mistakes as evidenced by his own service tech. three weeks have gone by and still no response. if you buy a car their go elsewhere for your service would be lesson i have learned,
