After correctin Before purchasing, I had a written offer from them, and the day I came in, the offer was $1000 more than what was initially provided. After correcting their first “error” on their paperwork, they hid another $1000 in my actual contract, which had to be changed twice before it was signed. The purchased car was supposed to be delivered to my house at my convenience, but it was dropped off without a phone call, left in my driveway with the keys in the car, ignition on, while I was at work, only for me to discover it on my own. To add insult to injury, the car had an extra 3808 miles on it from when I purchased it and signed the contract just three days prior. Ron Marhofer Chevy’s explanation was that their drivers are 80-90 years old, so that is why the purchased car was left on and in my driveway. For the extra miles, I was told the car was a delivery vehicle, hence the discrepancy. When I went in, they showed me one paper that “apparently” was filed by the salesman the day of with my contract, showing the higher mileage. This random piece of paper did not bear my signature or anyone else's from the store, yet every other document had my signature with the lesser mileage. Ron Marhofer Chevy offered me a mere $500 to make up the difference for their mistake. I chose to return the car that day. However, despite being promised a refund check upon return, the process turned into a nightmare. Initially told I could pick up the check the following day, I was later informed that I needed proof from my bank that the check had cleared my account. Despite providing this proof, I was then told that their policy had suddenly changed, and they would mail me a check in 10 days. Even after showing that the check had been deposited and cleared after I had returned the vehicle, Ron Marhofer Chevy insisted on further delays, claiming all checks needed to be signed by a MARHOFER, who conveniently happened to be “hours away.” Upon returning to collect my refund, I was met with indifference and a lack of accountability. The only apology I received was a dismissive "I’m sorry you feel that way." This was a place that consistently boasted about treating customers like family. Yet, my experience with them felt more like dealing with a crazy ex than a "reliable" car company. Their actions, from disconnecting phone calls to gaslighting customers, speak volumes about their true priorities. Avoid this place like the plague if you value your time, money, and sanity. More

UPDATE: a couple sales people reached out and lined up a very similar car for me to purchase at the price I originally offered. So they made things right and I finally got my car Original story: I had s very similar car for me to purchase at the price I originally offered. So they made things right and I finally got my car Original story: I had stopped by multiple weeks in a row to look at a used car. 1st time, they were closed (my fault), but I got to look it over. Second week, I go in when they are open to hopefully talk to someone. I was outside for 15 minutes, and no one bothered to come out, so I went inside to the front desk where no one was stationed and waited. Finally, someone came up, and I offered to buy the car at $900 less than they had it listed for because I'm on a budget. Steven told me there was no wiggle room, so we exchanged numbers, and I said to call me when you're ready to sell it at the number I offered them. Within the week, they dropped the price $1000 and I received no call until I started pursuing them. Steven finally calls me back, and we arrange for a Saturday test drive before I buy. Saturday morning I fill out a credit app to get things going and as I just left my house to go to the dealership, I get a call saying someone came and test drove it and put a credit app in on it, so it was theirs now. I was furious. No respect for if you were there first to buy it. They will sell it out from under you after you put in a lot of effort to buy it. Waisted weeks of my life on actively trying to buy this car only for them to sell it to the first other person to show interest in it at a lower price than I originally offered. More
