I ended up talking to dealers in several parts of the country about different trucks and originally was going to buy a Ford until I found out that they had not switched away from the cp4 fuel pump that h country about different trucks and originally was going to buy a Ford until I found out that they had not switched away from the cp4 fuel pump that had gotten both Ford and GM sued for its use and failure consistently that caused additional damage to the diesel engine besides just the fuel pump failure. After deciding to go with a Chevrolet I dealt with my local dealer and several other dealers across the country looking for a particular truck with particular options and Bob Pierce was the only dealer I dealt with that was willing to do a search all over the country and find the truck with the right options. After finding a couple of trucks with the options that I wanted neither of those dealers would release the truck to Bob's dealership. I was going to close a deal with one of the dealers myself they were very inflated on the price that I would have gotten at Bob's dealership. After I decided against that particular contract I called Bob up and he did a new search and ended up finding a truck that the dealer and another state would release to him and everything worked out very perfectly and he also got me a cheaper quote on the upfit for the service body. I cannot express how helpful it was that he was willing to put in the extra time and make those searches even if those dealerships possibly would not give him the truck so he can make the sale. That is true service. not a single dealership that I had dealt with all over the country was willing to tell me anything except for the trucks that they had in stock. I was very impressed that even when it appeared the Bob wouldn't be able to make the sale he was still willingto go the extra mile to make sure that I got the truck that would fit my business needs best.
