My only complaint is that the service guy got oil on my plastic foot panel and carpet. I’ve been scrubbing it to get it clean. Review/Complaint for Mark Allen Chevrolet Glenpool– Corvette Service I left my 2011 C6 Corvette at Mark Allen Chevrolet in Glenpool, OK on August 12 for several minor repairs and maintenance. I didn Corvette Service I left my 2011 C6 Corvette at Mark Allen Chevrolet in Glenpool, OK on August 12 for several minor repairs and maintenance. I didn’t get the car back until September 17, and while the delay in itself wouldn’t have been an issue, the way the entire process was handled left a lot to be desired. Throughout the month-long wait, communication was poor to nonexistent. I was repeatedly told I’d receive updates “the next day,” but that rarely happened. Instead, I had to call them myself, often only to find out that items I had clearly listed — both verbally and on a written list — had been forgotten or ignored. For example, I asked them to inspect and fix the intermittent hatch button on my C6. I was told by the service department that my Corvette “didn’t have one,” which is simply incorrect. After I pointed out its location, they sent me a photo — of the actual button — and still denied it existed or needed inspection. It’s shocking that a dealership with two so-called “Corvette Specialists” couldn’t even acknowledge a standard feature. A quick check of the manual or a basic online search could have cleared up their confusion. Another item I asked to be addressed was squealing brakes. Their response was that the pads were “glazed” but still “good.” No fix was applied — and no further feasible recommendation was made. To be clear, cost wasn’t the issue — I was willing to pay for the work, as long as the work was being done. They did complete some basic maintenance (oil change, spark plugs, filters), and I assume those were done correctly. But everything beyond the basics was handled poorly or not at all. I did receive a small discount, possibly for the delay and the forgotten work, but that doesn’t make up for the wasted time, lack of accountability, or missed opportunities — especially when I had people asking for Corvette shop recommendations while mine was in the shop. Sadly, I cannot recommend Mark Allen Chevrolet in Glenpool to other Corvette owners, which is disappointing given their supposed expertise. More
