My Silverado has only 7500 miles on it when I got warnings of my emissions system needing service and that I only had 160 miles before the engine started to shut down to slower speeds. This was on Thursday morning and I was leaving on a camping trip on Saturday morning pulling a trailer. I took it to my closest dealer and they turned me away telling me that they were too busy and wouldn't even look at it until next week. I went to the next closest dealer and they pretty much did the same thing to me. Now I'm starting to panic because our trip is in jeopardy now. I purchased my truck at Mark Christopher and it'a bit of a drive from my house but I called them and talked to Ray in the service department. He said that they were busy but that if I brought it in and put my self in line for service that they might be able to get to it on Friday. Well, that was my only option and hoping for the best, I dropped it off. I met Ray and what a blessing it was to meet such a nice enthusiastic person in the service department. He said that he would get it in and would do their best for us and that's all we could have asked for at that point. I was astonished when Ray called me and left a message on Friday that my truck was done and it was only about 2pm. My wife and I high tailed it over there to pick up my truck and make contact with Ray one more time. He rode in and saved the day! We made it on our camping trip on time and had a wonderful time. We gave cheers to Ray with our first beverage after getting camp set up. Though Mark Christopher is not the closest dealer to my house, they will earn my business as a service department that can get it done. More
