The part needed for my truck wasn’t available when initially took it in, which was no fault of the dealers. Because I couldn’t get the part, I couldn’t get an emissions test, and therefore couldn’t ta initially took it in, which was no fault of the dealers. Because I couldn’t get the part, I couldn’t get an emissions test, and therefore couldn’t tag the truck in CA. I asked Nobu for a document that stated I wouldn’t be able to get an emissions test due to this part being faulty, and he said he would get it to me. The truck has been fixed now, so it’s a moot point, but I never got that document. I initially took the truck in on June 12th. They put the part that was needed on back order and were supposed to call me when it came in. I called periodically to check if it had arrived, and on August 18th I called to check in again. They informed me they’d received the part needed two days prior and I could bring the truck in. Communication with this group was slow and frustrating. I was told I would be given certain things and I never was. I was told I’d be notified when the part came in, and if I hadn’t of followed up who knows when I would’ve been told they had the part. Overall I would say this is a lackluster performance by the team there. The shop seemed to do a good job once they got the truck, but prior to that it was challenging. More
