I called Marc Jacobson before going in and spoke to a wonderfully kind salesman, John Flanagan, who not only emailed me to confirm a time slot with him but was incredibly nice to speak with. In person, he was understanding and patient, working with me to find the right preowned Toyota to fit my budget and my style constraints while answering all my questions. He worked very hard to make the somewhat daunting experience of purchasing a car for the first time quick and easy for me. John definitely went above and beyond to address small concerns I had. I really appreciated John's kindness, professionalism, and helpfulness, and I highly recommend his expertise. I was immediately impressed with the friendliness and knowledge of my sales guy, Leo Sullivan. He and his staff had to search to help get the Toyota that best fit me and my business. They went over and above any other dealership I have dealt with in the past. I was also impressed with the lifetime warranty package that is offered at Mark Jacobson. I felt working through the process was straight forward and direct with nothing misleading. Jay helped me through the complete process including car overview, selecting options, pricing, and then closing the deal. The dealership was extremely friendly and professional which I certainly appreciate. However, I want to say that Jay Bazooband is the primary reason I chose to purchase in Durham. I was able to get a similar price at a dealer very close to my home but I choose to buy in Durham based on my sales person and my past dealings with him. (Jay was also the sales person I dealt with in 2008 during my last car purchase). My family and I have chosen to do business at the dealership because of Jay and he should be credited for that business. More

But his personality and background made him stand out. Maybe the highest compliment you can pay a sales person is to say you trusted them. Well, I trusted David. Even though our search led us to buy elsewhere, it was not because of this dealership and certainly not because of David.
