Andrew O’Connor Saved Us As McLarty Customers I had my Scion TC for 11 years and was finally ready to get a new one. My husband and I were devastated to hear Toyota no longer made Scions. Well the I had my Scion TC for 11 years and was finally ready to get a new one. My husband and I were devastated to hear Toyota no longer made Scions. Well the first salesman to help us rubbed me wrong so bad. Basically, he didn’t listen to me when I asked if he could find me another Scion; he kept pushing me to get a Toyota. He even spoke slowly to me like I was a child. After walking us around the entire lot, I did see a Toyota Corolla I could be interested in. The salesman had an appt come in so he passed us off to his trainer. Now, his trainer sold my husband’s mother her truck so we felt a bit better about the buying process. However, he was the same way. He was trying to push me into vehicles I didn’t want (new cars) and wouldn’t even negotiate the price of the Corolla I looked at claiming it’s the best and lowest price already. I took the car home to test drive but immediately knew it wasn’t the one. I went home and scheduled appointments at other Toyota dealerships. When I went back the next day I handed the keys and said we were about to go. The second salesman asked us to wait to see if he could find us something but instead went to finish a sale with other customers. Then I saw Andrew O’Connor! He sold my sister her car to her and he made such a great impression on my sister and mom. I told him my situation and said I was about to go Landers. He looked at me shocked and asked if he can save us. Of course, I let him. First, Andrew sat us down and went over everything we wanted car wise and financing wise. He listened to us without pushing and spoke with his manager. The first car he showed me was not quite what I was looking for but it was in my budget. The second car he showed us was too dang beautiful to be in my budget but he said it was. Short story, Andrew sold us the most beautiful sporty car. We got an unbelievable deal on it as well as on my Scion TC which I was broken hearted to give up. Andrew is an amazing salesperson but also just an amazing person!! I’d recommend anyone to him! Thanks, Andrew! I love my new car so much I’m saying “Scion who?”. More

Safety recall service The service department was very busy on the day that I visited. The parts had to be ordered so no repairs were completed that day. I was notified that my vehicle was ready and the time of closing. I did not like having to pay for a part and the work hour for a part that had been previously replaced (Front Seat Shield). I asked to check for recalls on this part. More
