Being a long time Costco member, I thought I would try their auto buying service for this purchase. This was the first time I had tried their program. As we are now in the midst of the second Covid sur their auto buying service for this purchase. This was the first time I had tried their program. As we are now in the midst of the second Covid surge so I did not want to spend hours at a dealership trying to negotiate a fair deal. I've bought several vehicles from, Martin Honda and it's predecessor through the years. Fortunately they were the local participating dealer. As in the past they were very good to work with. Vernon was very helpful, knowledgeable and professional. He was very detailed in explaining how to use the features of the vehicle that I was not familiar with. As we are in the midst of covid, I think Martin exposes their customers to too many people during the final buying process. In addition to Vernon, we had to meet with (3) other people - fabric treatment/undercoating, insurance & finance who all I assume meet with each group buying a car. It would be safer for all to find a way to reduce this interaction perhaps by doing it on line or remotely by phone. More
