I originally came into Martin Honda because I was getting an oil change and some other work done on my car. A representative called me from the Sales Department to ask me if I wanted to trade in my Honda Civ an oil change and some other work done on my car. A representative called me from the Sales Department to ask me if I wanted to trade in my Honda Civic 2008. I was a little hesitant because my credit was bad. I told them all of this information up front and they still ensured me that they could work with me. I went in to get more details about the trade in and David Romanoski greeted me instantly. He was very friendly. I explained to him that someone had called me, but I could not remember his name. He looked around for the gentleman who had called me, but unfortunately he was not available. Dave jumped right in and started to assist me. He was very patient with me. I explained my credit situation and he had me fill out paper work to see if I would be approved for a loan. When he found out that Honda Financial Services would finance me, he took the lead and got the car ready for, got the tags, and even called my insurance company to switch my old car to my new car. Dave even came in on his day off to ensure my experience was enjoyable! The finance department was extremely helpful. I told them what I could afford and they got me to as close to that payment as they possibly could. I have been a Martin Honda customer since 2008; I bought my first car there and I use their mechanics. I feel that they offer the best service in New Castle County and I wouldn't trust anyone else with my car. It has honestly been an enjoyable experience for me and I am a lifetime customer! More
I purchased a new Honda Fit from Dave Eno and he was wonderful, helpful and knowledgable I had previously owned two Hondas before. The price we agreed upon was satisfactory and I was thrilled. However,after signing the papers as the shop was detailing the car they accidentally bumped into a pillar in the garage and damaged my rear bumper enough to warrant a new bumper. After this I ordered floor mats which did not come with my car, and was quoted a price for them. When I took the car in to have the bumper replaced, they installed the floor mats at the same time, and I was charged full price for the mats and installation. I felt the dealership could have overlooked the cost of the mats, since I overlooked the damage to my new car. My complaint was not with Dave but rather the dealership, I felt they should have made some sort of adjustment. I had to make two extra trips to the dealership once for the bumper and mats and once to pick up my tags. When I went to have the bumper replaced I was sent from the service dept. to collision and then back to service, where it was eventually replaced. When I went to pick up my tags I was told to go go Martin Mazda and that the tags were there and that they would put them on for me. The gentlemen at Mazda told me the Honda dealership should put them on for me. I went into the Mazda dealership and picked up the tags and the receptionist in the showroom was nice enough to find someone to put them on for me. I realize the dealership is in cahos with the new construction but the communication between the branches for the needed services. The important thing is I am happy with my car and I would do business with Dave again. More

Returned for license plates; Frank was outside, came over and went out of his way to help us get them (he walked across the street and picked them up for us!)and had us follow to service to put them on in just a few minutes! Service put on hitch and gave loaner for day keeping me updated. Absolutely wonderful place! This is a terrific place to purchase or service a Honda! More

My husband and I went to Honda after work. We were in between the decision of buying or leasing a car. Mr. Romanoski was very welcoming and friendly. He answered all questions and concerns. We were actually close to finalizing a deal at another dealership when we decided to visit Martin Honda. We met Eric Marefat and he was really great to work with. He knew everything about the different Honda models and answered all of our many, many questions patiently and with good humor. He seemed to go the extra mile in trying to be of service, managing to get the car I wanted from another dealer. He was also the only agent we met who was able to get Kath the car she wanted. We knew from speaking to various other dealers that getting the color and features Kath wanted in a 2011 CRV, especially a navigation system, could be very difficult, but to our surprise, Martin Honda had the very car Kath was hoping to get. Eric was also extremely helpful in going through the financial terms with us and we were delighted to find that we would be able to get our two cars at a satisfactory price. Although Kath brought in some brownies for Eric when we picked up our cars, we really felt some other way of thanking him was in order. I feel certain we will turn to Eric in the future for all of our car needs and will recommend him to our friends and family. More
