I had a 11:30 appointment, checked in at 11:10 with Kristin, very rude, was told would be 20 minutes to fix my car.My paperwork states that they started on my car at 11:34 and that it was ready at 12:00, and this is very wrong, did not start working on it until 12:55 and was ready at 1:20. My car had a Recall for Brake pedal Stopper. Told her that I did not want any other work performed on my Kia when I checked in and also when made the appointment. When my car was backed into the bay, my sister and myself both were outside and watch , the mechanic he open the hood, took an air filter out , replaced it, walked to back of my Forte, talked to another mechanic then came around and shined a flashlight into my wheels and looked at my brakes. then Kristin came out and said my car was done and I was asked to sign 3 papers that work was complete. I asked to see where he did the work and she went to get the manager and asked her to get a unopened bag of the stoppers so he could show me the part that they installed. How could they install a brake stopper under the hood? Why not show me the opened bag that the part came out of, if they did put a part on my car? I called Kia corp. and they told me to take it to another dealership to verify that the part was installed, that the recall order was closed due to this dealership stating that they installed the part. So now I will have to pay out of pocket to verify or to have this part installed. It would seem that a business would treat a customer that has bought numerous autos (Soul,Sorento,2 Forte's) with a little more courtesy and respect. When I bought my Forte from this dealership,I had the best salesman, Jack.
