John D is the only reason this gets a FIVE STAR. I travel and go to toyotas across the USA. I can name which ones are the best and which ones are sub par. Their service department has always been VERY bad to me, but John in sales is one of the best salesman I have ever encountered. He actually sells you a car without pressure but prepared with all the knowledge you need to make an informed decision. He told me my car was rock solid. I bought it. Couple months later I took it for service. After 5 hours wait for an oil change, I left without one. Department messed up out the gate claiming there was issues that didn't exist, had the wrong car customer, and it kept snowballing. So I politely took my car back from the service department and was fed up. John sees me on the way out very upset. He stopped to talk to me and I know he is just in sales but he calmed me down and told me not to give up on Toyota. NEXT DAY, i took it to golling. They said I had 3 bad tire sensors was gonna cost thousands. I called John bc I HAD JUST BOUGHT IT. he told me to put air in my tires myself and double check.. they were all 5 psi off and that is all I needed to do to fix it. A year later and my car still is solid. He was very right. He went over and beyond his call of duty and single handedly stopped a corporate complaint and tarnished reputation. Although the service departments so far in michigan are scandalous, John keeps me a loyal toyota fan bc he is a shining star who cares about customers over everything (and if it isn't true, he is THAT good at his job). I send everyone I know to Matick Toyota to buy a car because of him. Honestly, Toyota is lucky to have such a loyal person working for them. Thanks John for keeping my love for toyota alive and well! John in sales was extra helpful setting up the car's media / communications for me. Much appreciated. When they fix their time management problem at the end of their process I will rate them higher.
