I brought my truck in for an oil change and a tune up and also to have my truck hard top functional. First off I was told my hard top had been fixed and it was not, After getting an argument from Maryann I also to have my truck hard top functional. First off I was told my hard top had been fixed and it was not, After getting an argument from Maryann I had to ask her to come out and look for herself that it had not been fixed. Then she told me I’d be best off going to a body shop to have that fixed (That’s why I went to your service shop because they have a body shop on the premises)! . Then I was told that my truck would have to be kept overnight because the part needed to be ordered and the part that was installed wasn’t even necessary for the problem that needed to be fixed (of course I was charged for this). Then was told by Maryann that I would have to pay for this or they would take the part out and put my old part back in. then also told by Maryann that I should go to a high performance auto shop for said problem(Which is a belt squeaking). Then your computers were down and me along with all the other irate customers had waited and waited to be able to pay. I was very upset and had asked ' for my trouble could a free ford t-shirt a least be included in the package and was told no( by Maryann) you would think she would have wanted to a least placate me with something as simple as a free t-shirt. This Is ridiculous, I thought my truck was in good hands. I’m sorry to say but I think you have lost my future business. Then just to add to my anger my tire’s where in need of air and that wasn’t even taken care or mentioned (according to the Ford Service commercial there is multi point inspection done when you bring your vehicle in). More
I came in to buy a Ford because I heard nothing but good things about the dealership. I was never pressured at all into buying my Ford and they gave me a good price stress free. Gary took the extra time to find us the exact exact F150 we were searching. I was amazed to learn that he located a Lariat which came off the assembly line July 18th. We purchased it August 6. He made the deal "too good to refuse!" Keith Grening was very helpful with the filing of the financial papers. Over all, the service was excellent ! We arrived, signed all necessary paper work and drove away in a new F150 Lariat ! More
Purchased 06 chevy impala. A few weeks later, tread fell off tire causing $3, 000.00 worth of body damage. The salesman promised me vehicle had brand new "safe" tires!! Thank God noone was injured. I called about a Dodge Grand Caravan and they had two on the lot marked both, on their website, matthewscurrie.com and on our bank's car location service, as being $17k plus change. By the time we had got there, they had changed the prices on their website to $21k plus change then the sales manager told me that they had two different websites. When I dared to suggest that I had typed in the same URL both times he basically called me a liar and would not do business with us. They lost a sale. We went to Tampa and bought the same van for our offered price including TT&L. I almost forgot to mention that they gave us three time what Matthews currie offered us on our trade-in. More
I have a 1984 Chev Silverado needed the ac fixed. Guys did a great job. Ask if it was ok the keep over night just to make sure no leaks. I was not happy with the financing department who "saved" me 1000 dollars by getting a 7.2% interest loan via ford motor credit. I was told that I had to keep it 3 months and then refinance it where "saved" me 1000 dollars by getting a 7.2% interest loan via ford motor credit. I was told that I had to keep it 3 months and then refinance it where ever I wanted to. I was told it would save me money. It does not. The front ended simple interest loan (as they all are) have charged me 414.42 in interest since my new car loan over 3 months. When I refinance I will have to pay "used" car interest rates and according to my credit union I will not qualify for the new car loan rate which comes to over 800 dollars on the life of my loan. There are other charges too that add to my "savings"! This dealership gives us the 1000 discount and finances the loan themselves. According to Ford Motor Credit hey then sell the loan to Ford motor credit for a large profit. When Ford Motor Credit heard that they advise to refinance the loans after 3 months they were not happy! Ford Motor Credit pays a premium for a 7.2% loan and then it goes away! At 7.2% I would be they get a premium for the group of loans sold and maximize the profit from you. I dont need to get more specific.... I liked the new car sales person I dealt with but if you are to buy a vehicle here arrange your own financing! More
I gave a great rating for my experience at Matthews Currie. I had the pleasure of working with Ken McMahon who took practically half of his day to make sure I got what I wanted and needed. Ken worked very hard on this what seems like a project for me. I had absolutely no credit and almost no bank wanted to give me alone, but with Men's patients we found one. In the end the dealership lost a little bit of money on the 2012 Chevy Kampala I purchased just so I could leave happy in a safer more reliable car for me and my one and half year old son! I cannot think of a better way to thank him!! Due to all Men's hard work dictated them with top ratings. Thank you team!! More
I had a service appt at 10am on 6/15/13. Drove all through sarasota and venice running errands. Came home at 3pm and realized my oil was draining from under my car. The service dept was closed so my husband looked under car and realized drain plug was not even hand tightened. I am so disappointed in the lack of professionalism of the mechanics ability to perform a simple oil change. My paperwork states job was performed by Marc H. luckily i have husband who has mechanic skills and knew what to look for. Because having it done on saturday and the service dept not opening again until monday - waiting was not an option for me. More

Ken was going to be off on the Sunday that I would be driving down, so he instructed me to ask for Chad Westrick. When I got there, Chad was there to greet me. The car was also already pulled up front. I was literally in and out of that dealership in 2.5 hours. The last person I spoke to was Pat Downey. What a nice man. We discussed financing and I was out the door. Everyone was so nice and professional. Thanks Chad, Ken, & Pat! I love my MKT!!! More
