This purchase turned out to be much more difficult than expected. Adam and his team really did well but GM Caddie folks really didn’t do the job I expected. We (Adam and me) built the vehicle I wanted early in the fall of 2024. GM simply was not building the vehicle we ordered so we had to submit another order for a vehicle without the 24” wheels and without the Premium Platinum Package and downgrade the vehicle design to Platinum Package. This change got GM to accept the order but they (GM) didn’t make delivery until April of 2025 which was almost 4months later than I anticipated. When the vehicle finally arrived at Matthews there were a couple of internal financial matters that were miss handled within Matthews but Adam did his best to correct those errors and the vehicle was finally delivered to my “”handicapped assessable contractor “ where it is undergoing necessary mods. THE WHOLE PROCESS TOOK MUCH TOO LONG AND I SPENT TOO MUCH TIME ON THE PHONE!! They did not call to keep me updated about my service and I am still waiting to hear regarding a part they had to order and its been several weeks since my vehicle was there. Got totally ripped off and they lied too they did work I didn’t approve of and was forced to pay. I was told over the phone vehicles need one coil and one spark plug they replaced all four spark plugs witho didn’t approve of and was forced to pay. I was told over the phone vehicles need one coil and one spark plug they replaced all four spark plugs without my permission and then I was forced to pay for it during time of pick up. Also had a battery installed a week later. After the installation of the battery, my caution, hazard lights do not work anymore, the coil and a spark plug and the vehicle started misfiring then when I spoke to the mechanic, he explained it is a very common issue, but is not under warranty even though my vehicle only has 53,000 miles on it. I will never return or recommend your dealership to anyone ever. Repairs department is unreliable and untrustworthy.
