The car had to be towed from Ithaca to Vestal (~50 miles). This was as recommended because of the error code. The repair action was to update engine control unit software that apparently we a service miles). This was as recommended because of the error code. I was disappointed that the service call I did in June (DSG fluid filter change) did not result in application of the service bulletin. Apparently this is not included. I will make it a point to expressly ask that the service bulletins be checked during future service actions. More
