Excellent and helpful salesman I bought a used Prius. Robert Walker was my salesman and he could not have been more helpful. I give him 5 out of 5 stars. My overall review only gets 4 stars because their finance guy tried to mislead me. I bought my car and was financing 72 months at 225 a month. He asked me if I wanted gap insurance for only a buck more a month. He said, you can afford a dollar a month. I asked if it was in fact only a dollar a month. He said yes. Yet a few minutes later when signing the contract for 226 a month with the gap insurance it magically went from 72 to 75 months. When I questioned him he first said it was still only a dollar a month. I said with three extra payments. He said I assume you saw it was 75 months. It was so misleading and such a way to try and cheat the customer I was tempted to leave and go somewhere else. Again Robert my salesman was fantastic and I could know recommend him more if you need a car. He was helpful, courteous and went out of his way to help me. More

The sales, service after the sale, and efforts to ensure a satisfi Our family has been dealing with Steve Matthews and Matthews Motors since mid-1995. The sales, service after the sale, and efforts to ensure a satisfied customer should be the "Gold Standard" for the industry! In our 21-year relationship with Matthews Motors, our extended family has purchased in excess of 18 vehicles of all styles (sports cars, sedans, pickups, vans), and VERY few have ever caused us problems. In the very few instances in which we did encounter problems after the sale, Matthews Motors went far above and beyond in making things right, even though (at least to us), it seemed they were losing money by doing so. Most recently purchased a Toyota FJ Cruiser, and after a while had starting trouble. Returned it to the dealership, and 20 minutes later drove away with a new battery - "No charge, sir." The sales staff is top-notch, the Service Department is knowledgeable, and "service after the sale" is second to none. We cannot recommend Matthews Motors highly enough for all your quality used-car needs! More
