Muas Nissan in NPR has a new Customer for life! I have had my other Altima serviced by this location but this was the first time I bought a car. They made the process easy and simple. I have to say that the service was outstanding. My service tech, Lance went out of his way to make sure everything was fine, and explained what they were going to do. Wouldn't recommend taking your vehicle in to be serviced, they tried to charge me $10,000 for parts and labor but we're going to do a recall part free of charge in the fuel tank for the Titan. Into the work they tried to charge me $10,000 for parts and labor but we're going to do a recall part free of charge in the fuel tank for the Titan. Into the work for the recall part, two bolts broke and I was called and said if they went any further with it and broke anything else other than the two parts that I would be responsible for paying for it while it was in their care.I told them not to worry about the recall part and just put two bolts back on it so I can come pick my truck up. Longer story short I spent $300 at AutoZone and took 2 hours out of my day and fixed everything they claim to be wrong with my truck. In my opinion maus Nissan is the worst service department I've ever went to for help. More

On Monday January 27th, what was supposed to be a routine oil change appointment was anything but just that. For months I have been contacted by salesmen interested in buying back my 2014 Nissan Pathfinder. oil change appointment was anything but just that. For months I have been contacted by salesmen interested in buying back my 2014 Nissan Pathfinder. I have received mail about it as well and even received a call about buy back options just 10 min before my 9am appointment. This enthusiastic VIP manager (title listed in phone message) was talking about the great deal they had to offer me which was one that would be way over the value of the car. Now after doing business with Maus Nissan of NRP for many years and actually 3 out of my last 4 cars were purchased here, the treatment I received Monday was unlike anything I’ve experienced before. As I sit and wait for my oil change in the lobby the VIP manager (red head, forgot his name)...calls again. I answered and as we are talking he approaches me in the waiting area. Just a enthusiastic as the 8:50am call, he continued with the same energy. He wanted to know if I was interested in an appraisal at this time. Yes, maybe for the 3rd time I replied. I was interested in knowing my buy back quote. Next, here’s when it all shifts. So the saleswoman Kaitlin Heine approaches me in the waiting area. Very pushy and quite rude... began questioning me about personal information for the buy back form. When it got to my address, I asked her if I could fill out the form. She was def surprised by this request and I let her know that we are in a lobby full of quests and my personal information did not need to be given out loud for everyone to here. That’s where the attitude began. I left things blank and she questioned how much I owed on the suv. None of her business is what I wanted to say, but rather kindly told her that the amount I owed does not need to be mentioned in order to get an appraisal. She asked how much my car payments were, and then to her surprise she questioned me, wow how did you get that deal and such cheap payments. The way she asked was belittling and I quickly replied, good credit and great job THATS HOW, by now I was pissed. That reply or sales pitch or whatever reason for her questioning me was very Rude. She had what she needed and attempted to get me to come to the sales floor to look at cars now. I said I did not want to go look at cars and just agreed to the appraisal. Her reply was “ok I’ll be back shortly.” She came back about 10 min later with yet another salesman. The gentleman actually sold me on my Pathfinder years ago. He sat down with Kaitlin and asked me some questions and actually listened. He was very understanding and was not pushy and instead asked me to contact him when I was ready to trade. They left the lobby. Here comes Kaitlin 10 min later or so...and with an excuse that the VIP Manager was extremely busy and could not give me an appraisal today. See how everything shifted... From being all customer friendly and wanting to take care of me, then suddenly no time for me. -whatever 🤷🏼♀️. As I sit and continue to wait for my oil change, here comes the red headed VIP manager (the one who was so busy) approaching a couple waiting in the lobby for an oil change. He ran the same game about appraisal and this time with another saleswoman. The guest too was interested about hearing a buy back offer for the Sentra she was driving. She got a little further than I did as she went and looked at cars with zero intention of buying. I KNOW BECAUSE customers talk in the lobby. Anyways, she came back very upset and actually quite angry on how pushy the woman was with her and I def saw it too. I let her know that it happened to me too. It was interesting to see and I totally get the business and the grind and need to sell and make commission but not like this! The salesman Jd that came over and actually listened to me, without cutting me off like Kaitlin, is a great example of the reason why I have been coming to this NRP Maus dealership. Like Kaitlin said, the VIP sales manager was too busy, she were too pushy, and the way she treated me as a loyal customer was unlike anything I’ve experienced before. How could I receive 2 calls about buy back options, get mail about a buy back option, and even get a call 10 min before coming to the dealership but then all of the sudden the red headed gentleman who was really enthusiastic on the phone and seemed to have all the time in the world then became too busy. I will never purchase another vehicle from Maus NRP nissan and highly recommend looking at other dealerships for cars. The service has gone downhill and the way they treat there customers is just TERRIBLE. I didn’t even mentioned that I was there for 3 hrs for an oil change (even with an appointment) and would have been there and additional hour if I continued to wait for the complimentary wash.
