I recently purchased a vehicle from Max Ford, the windshield was chipped so per the agreement they were going to fix it. On my way to the dealership the check engine light came on so when we dropped windshield was chipped so per the agreement they were going to fix it. On my way to the dealership the check engine light came on so when we dropped the keys off to fix the windshield we asked them to take a look at the car. First off, they ordered the wrong windshield so they had to keep it an extra day, but when we picked up the car we asked about the check engine light. They responded, “it was nothing, it’s taken care of.” On my drive home I realize they forgot to reconnect the windshield fluid lines and the check engine light came on. Seeing how horrible Max Ford’s attention to detail was we took it to our normal service provider and after having it for a few hours we come to find one of the catalytic coverters is failing, one of the O2 sensors needs to be replaced, the cabin air filter needs to be replaced, and the transmission fluid needs to be replaced. “It was nothing”, ya right. 10/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND. More
