I did research on the Honda CRV, Toyota RAV4, Nissan Rogue and Subaru. My first options were Toyota and Honda since I've owned them in the past and found them dependable. But I also wanted to try something different. Something I would really like (style, trim, body,size and color...and the financing options). So, after many attempts to visit the dealerships, 2 of my friends had bought Mazda CX-5s. One is Sport and the other one is Grand Touring. They told me all the features and how they love it so I'm starting to get curious and I started to do my research on the CX5. While checking online, the chat popped out and asked me to enter my info so they could call me back. During the day, I got a notification from my phone. Matt Heidrich from Elk Grove Mazda sent me a text just to see where I was in the car buying process and if there was anything he could do to assist. He asked what my budget was and what kind of car I'm eyeing to get. He gave me more info on the model,buyer reviews, payment options, etc. Matt was so easy to talk with. So after few days of email and exchanging text messages with Matt, I finally decided to visit the dealership. As I entered the dealership, I felt at home not only because I brought my family with me but folks at the dealership were very friendly. Matt took us for a test drive and I really liked the CX-5. So I asked Matt whats the next step. I started the credit app. We checked my credit score. I was kinda nervous because I haven't checked my credit report in such a long time. I get approved, got a reasonable APR. Matt helped me all throughout the buying process. Matt and Kyle were very kind and easy to work with. Didn't expect to take the car home the same day. Considering it was kinda late. Matt helped me sync my phone to the car, walked me through all the features of the car and answered all of my questions. Mazda of Elk Grove had the most positive reviews on Yelp of any other dealership I looked at. Actually , it wasn't a difficult car buying experience. I feel good about the whole experience. And I really do love the car. More

Easy and straight forward We had done our homework online and when we came to the dealership we pretty much knew what we wanted. He asked us all the typical questions and showed us exactly what we wanted and didn't try to push anything that we were not interested in. We test drove a Mazda 6 on our first visit and talked some options and then let him know that we wanted to go home and think about things. He was very understanding and let us know to contact him if we had any follow up. One of the cars we were looking at had an internet special going on the following weekend so we went down and asked for Jason. We took a couple more test drives and he let us talk things over with no pressure. When we were ready to sit down the paperwork and finance took about 1 hour (the place was not busy though, we were lucky). By time the paperwork was done the car was ready and we were on our way. Overall a very nice experience and we felt like we received a good deal on the car. More

They really loved working with Garrett and we all love their new CX-9, so i contacted Garrett to see what might fit my needs. The CX 5 was my choice. I love the cross-over/sports car feel to it. So i decided to lease one. It was by far the easiest new car leasing experience ever! Garrett was extremely knowledgeable and pleasant to work with and took the time to explain all the advantages my CX 5 had to offer. Grant was so positive and helpful, and gave me a sweet deal! Kyle was unlike any other finance guy I've dealt with; laid back, friendly and efficient. Mazda of Elk Grove has an awesome staff and I will definitely recommend them to friends and family. More

The circumstances that led to us needing a new vehicle were not ideal and I was trying to shop and buy a car under a time crunch. Even though it was over an hour drive to get there it was worth it to have all of the pricing worked out before I even arrived. More

While I went in knowing Mazda was my top choice, I didn't even bother going to any other dealerships. The Mazda 3 I grand touring test drive had me HOOKED. Jason was amazing throughout the entire process and it was smooth sailing. The dealership did a trade with another location (Bakersfield, I believe) so that I could have the exact car I wanted.
