Overall a good experience I have been doing a lot of research and debating over a few months time, and playing with what would work for my budget. Had gone to a couple dealers I have been doing a lot of research and debating over a few months time, and playing with what would work for my budget. Had gone to a couple dealers during that time but had not been treated how I wanted or given the deal I wanted, just did not get the right vibe to pull the trigger on a purchase. Had a day off from work with some free time so I decided to go down to Elk Grove and check it out and see what they had to offer. I was in email communication for a couple weeks with Garrett due to truecar.com and had looked at their inventory online, so I had a vague idea of what I wanted. Once there I delt with Michael and looked around there lot a bit, he was helpful but never pushy, was able to go back and forth on a few different features and he had some valuable input. I found what I was looking for on the lot and we started talking numbers. They met the price I was willing to pay. I had not gone with the intent to buy that day but they met what I wanted and I was wanting this car, also the whole process was so smooth. So I took home a 2014 mazda3 hatchback touring in the dark blue mica and have been very happy with the car and the service after purchase. All in all I got a great car, had great service, and a painless experience. One thing to note is that I never felt pushed to buy, I was very willing and able to walk away from the deal at any time, but I was given some very good tools and advice and a deal that worked for me. Two people immediately asked me if I had been helped (I was there to see their internet sales manager Garrett). While Garrett was finishing up with another customer I meandered around the extremely clean dealership. I sat down with Garrett and discussed what I was looking for, he showed me all the choices they had on the lot and described some of the differences between Mazda 3 versions (they have a ton). We then narrowed down the type of car I wanted (Not black/manual/hatchback) and off we went. He walked me around the lot to look at a couple versions of the car I wanted, pointing out any additional features they had. We then went on a test drive for 15 minutes and returned to the dealership. In an attempt to not write the longest review ever, I can easily say this was a great car buying experience. Garrett kept in contact with me over the next few days checking in to see if I had any follow up questions/concerns and to make sure I felt comfortable with the trade in price of my car as well as the price of the Mazda3. Once I was determined to buy the car, Garrett walked me through the process of gathering documents and preparing to purchase the car. The day of purchase itself was great. I had all my documents ready and Garrett was extremely helpful in walking me through the process, all the costs associated with the car and Mazda's service. I would have given them 5 stars if the finance manager didn't try and brow beat me into buying the extended warranty. More
