I emailed Jaik and set up an appointment. My wife and I came in on Saturday, and dealt with Rachel and Jaik. It was a very pleasant experience, we actually had fun. We negotiated back and forth about price and options, but it was all very Light hearted and not all pushy. Even had a good time with the finance guy! He gave us the whole extra coverage lecture and we debated about everything! Haha it was fun. We both got what we wanted out of the deal and had fun doing it. I can honestly say that this was a very pleasant experience. My wife was very impressed with the young man,Jaik . He pretty much answered all her questions and was very knowledgeable about the mazda product line. My wife and I feel that both Jaik and Rachel were very much a post of us purchasing our vehicle from Elk Grove Mazda. The finance guy, we'll thats a whole other story! Good first car experience I purchased my Mazda3 right after I moved here from the east coast. I worked with Garrett, who picked me up from my hotel about 30 minutes away from the dealer, which was extremely helpful. He was great about communicating with me across the 3 hour difference and worked with me on his day off when I was discussing purchasing the car. I had a few difficulties with getting the new college grad discount, but it seemed more like those were due to requirements that Mazda had and Garrett worked with me to make sure I got the rebate. More

After researching for several months, I had narrowed it down to either the Mazda CX5 or Rav 4. After visiting several places and test driving several cars, we found the Mazda a Elk Grove to be the friendliest and most helpful. They definitely put at ease with no high pressure to buy. I test drove cars at other dealerships closer to my home and had decided what I felt was the right price for what I wanted. I initiated contact with Garrett via the internet and he immediately showed interest in my purchasing a vehicle from him. He made arrangements to get the exact car I wanted transferred from the Bay Area, at the exact price I wanted, and had it at his showroom ready to go the next day! All on only my word that I would buy it. Seriously? I have never had that kind of service! Thanks Garrett! More

My intentions were to just test drive and get information but fell in love with the Mazda 5 and did not feel the pressure to buy like other dealerships I have visited in the last month. I gave him my wish list and the next day he emailed me with the information on a car and that was in my price range. Josh was not available but he referred us to Jonathan Alcoriza. Jon was equally helpful and was knowledgeable. Needless to say we left with a car that day. It was a great experience and stress free! We will recommend friends and come back here again and again!!! I find these types of reviews the most valuable, specially when making a financial commitment in the thousands of dollars. This is why, I am writing this review. If you are looking for new or even used Mazda, and haven't quite made up your mind on where to go or who to talk to: go to Mazda of Elk Grove and contact Matt Heidrich. From my initial e-mail inquiry at 9pm on an odd Tuesday night; to an immediate reply, literally within minutes; to a concise follow up call; and finally, what I would say one of the most pleasant (I KNOW!!!! PLEASANT) car buying experience I have ever had (by the way, this is car 3 for me, so I have vast experience with dealerships and the buying car process). Matt made me feel comfortable, and earned my trust by being incredibly patient, professional and knowledgeable. He really listened and focus on what I wanted and needed out of a Mazda. Together, we were able to spec out a car that I liked and was realistic. Mind you, I had a considerable list of items that I need someone like Matt to help me reconcile; such as a strict budget, a tricky trade, and the desire for some nice finishes on a car to make my commute much more comfortable (have a 2.5 hr commute in perfect traffic every day). Matt handle all of my transactions as if they were his own, taking a personal interest on my satisfaction, which is a rare quality, but also one that is greatly appreciate. He was my advocate and voice to the financial department, and in the end was able to negotiate a deal, that I know he would have negotiate for himself (how do I know this, I plugged the numbers into various car sites and they confirmed this - AWESOME DEAL) After all was said and done, he was just as happy and please as me. I would also say, that at this point, after all the paper work is signed, most sales associates/managers walk away, but Matt has followed up and even today has made himself available for questions, concerns etc. If your serious about buying a Mazda want someone to help you buy a car rather then just selling you one, go to Mazda of Elk Grove, and give Matt Heidrich a call.
