A accident I was in totaled my car. We had been planning to continue with our current car for 4 to 5 more years, however circumstance changed that. Although looking to purchase a car came about through an unfortunate event, I could not have asked for more professional, customer service focused and caring sales associate in Garrett Oxnaes. He listened to my concerns, gave us numerous options and treated us wonderfully. I would recommend Garrett and the Elk Grove dealership to everyone. We will defiantly be a repeat customer. Thank you for making this a positive experience. More

Our salesman, Jaik Willmon, was eager to meet our request for the best "out-the-door" price. He worked to get us the best deal. Jaik, then introduced us to Tommy Davis, who handled the financial aspects of the transaction with professionalism. Grant Salge, helped us get the Lo-Jack installed. I had to purchase a vehicle due to an accident that totaled the car I was driving so it wasn't a completely positive reason, but Garrett Oxnaes and Steve Wray made it a great experience. Garrett was fr totaled the car I was driving so it wasn't a completely positive reason, but Garrett Oxnaes and Steve Wray made it a great experience. Garrett was friendly, but not pushy, from the moment we arrived. My intention was only to test drive the Mazda6 and then to continue looking around at other dealerships/cars. Garrett was so thorough during the test drive. He explained all the perks of the Mazda6. I was very happy with the vehicle and with the service I received at Mazda of Elk Grove that I went ahead and made my purchase that very day. Garrett & Steve were honest, straight-forward, and a pleasure to deal with. Thanks, guys, you're awesome! More
Elk Grove Mazda truly lives up to their great reputation. My experience started with an online inquiry for a CX5, and I quickly received a response from Josh Williams. Josh invited me down to the dealership for one of their "VIP" appointments. I was skeptical due to past dealership experiences that were not so pleasant, but what a great experience with EG Mazda. Not once did I feel pressured, or hurried to make a decision. Josh took the time to answer all of our questions and address any concerns. Josh also introduced us to the rest of the EG Mazda team. Everyone was friendly and genuinely seemed interested in making us feel comfortable throughout our time at the dealership. I love my new CX5 and will for sure recommend EG Mazda in the future. So a BIG thank you to EG Mazda and their team Josh, Danielle, Steve, Anthony, John, and Grant. Thank you, Errin H. More
I felt really comfortable there. I've had bad experiences in the past with other dealerships, but there was none of that here. WARNING: This review is going to be long. But I like to desribe in depth accounts of true, and actual events. The names have not been changed to protect the innocent. Just kidding. First off, I made c desribe in depth accounts of true, and actual events. The names have not been changed to protect the innocent. Just kidding. First off, I made contact over the internet, and was contacted by Anthony within 2 minutes and 35 second (seriously! less than 3 minutes after hitting the send button, Anthony called me). This shows how well they run their business... get the contact, make the contact, and invite the contact. Anthony was awesome. He mentioned there was a trade in the day prior, and it fit my needs (price, model, trim, etc.). We made an appointment 6 days later (in which I even offered to bring coffee). During this time, I emailed Anthony at least 6 times giving more specifications on my needs - what I was hoping to get for my trade in, what I wanted to put down, and what I'd like my payments to be. Each email was kinder than the previous. He was gracious, and answered all my questions, and even LOL'd my petty jokes. Day visit, I arrived ten minutes early (I like to be prompt). Garrett made initial contact, knowing I was me by the cups of coffee in my hands. He directed me to Anthony, and informed me that he (Garrett) would be the one to show me the car, test drive, etc. We all gathered in their "bullpin" to get to know me, and even get a copy of my license. After a few moments, Garrett and I made our way to a lovely 2012 Certified Mazda 3 Hatchback (in the color I was hoping for). Immediately I was drawn to the car, as it had all the features I was looking for; and none of the ones that I'm glad it didn't have (did that makes sense? - well, no leather for hot summers, nor sunroof to bake my bald head). We got into the car, and noticed the windows were already tinted. That took care of thing I don't have to do. Then Garrett began showing me all the phenomenal features of the dash, and steering wheel. We sync'd my cell to the bluetooth. Made prank phone calls to the receptionist from the car (just kidding). And we even were able to use my Pandora on the radio... we even headbanged for about a good 10 seconds. Finally after about a detailed 10 minutes of all the features (and no it was not boring at all), we drove it off the lot. We drove a few blocks down the way, and stopped. He had me switch to the driver seat and get comfy. Garrett jumped in the back to show the leg room that he had (as he and I are about the same build). He fit, but wasn't exactly the most comfy. I'm ok with that. It's a rarity that I have anyone in the back, other than my dogs. Garrett asked for me to do donuts in the open space (again, just kidding - he asked that I do a tight roundabout to show how tight the turning radius is). I love the handling. I jumped onto the freeway (99), and was able to get to speed quite nicely. I was looking for a gas efficient car, however the 3 is quite peppy and agile. We drove a bit down, and made our way back to the dealership after about 15 minutes (sorry, no road trip to Tahoe... although we did talk about it;). We got back to the dealership, as I had mentioned to him about a bit of road noise when coming to a stop, and dropped the car at the service bay. Garrett introduced me to John Hennessey, and felt great knowing he was checking out my potential car. We went back to Garrett's desk, asked if I wanted coffee or soda... I was quite content. Anthony meanwhile, had put together my offer, and had Garrett present it. Literally it was everything I was asking for, but 3 dollars less a month. WooHoo! I agreed to the terms, and paperwork proceded. They took my trade in, I had to call my insurance gal, and I even had a chance to find out it was Garrett's son's birthday (again, a happy birthday to him). Overall it had been a relaxing 45 minutes since I stepped on the lot. They then "pawned me off" to Steve Wray. Now, I'm usually not a fan of the pushy Finance guy... but Steve was not pushy at all. He and I have a lot in common. We talked about living in Misry (sorry, Missouri). Talked about good old fashion Southern Food (as I am a chef, I love talking shop). Overall Steve was awesome to work with, and I even got my warranty extended for the Certified part of my car. So... I now drive a sweet ride, that all I want to do is drive. I think listening to Jerry Reynolds, the Car Pro, paid off. I was able to get the car I wanted, in a no hastle, low stress, relaxed atmosphere; for the price I was looking for. Thank you to John Driebe for opening a Mazda dealership in between the Infiniti and Nissan. Thank you also for being who you are, and getting the Car Pro seal of approval. Thank you Anthony for being so freaking quick at internet responses, and having the forethought to what I was hoping for. Also, Garrett... thank you for being a great sales person. Not only informative, but fun to be able to have bit of a joke here an there. And finally, thank you to everyone at Elk Grove Mazda. I look forward to doing business here from now until . . . .?? It's nice to know that nearly every person I met at the dealership drives a Mazda, as well as their spouse driving Mazdas. More
