Very Good FIRST impression but the END was brutal First, an important note. I'm an out of state buyer who drove 300 miles to CJ Wilson Mazda of Orland Park to buy my vehicle. There were not many 2016 First, an important note. I'm an out of state buyer who drove 300 miles to CJ Wilson Mazda of Orland Park to buy my vehicle. There were not many 2016 grey CX-5 Touring vehicles with the packages I wanted at a fair price at my local dealers so I decided to expand my search radius. That's when I found exactly what I was looking for in stock at CJ Wilson Mazda. I asked for an e-quote and Sandy Tydd replied with their best price almost immediately. I was hoping to get yet a better price but the initial offer turned out to be the final offer (still very competitive). She originally promised a discount financing option to go with the price she quote but after speaking with the Finance Manager she had to retract the low financing offer (via Mazda Capital i.e. Chase). I still decided that I do not want to spend any more time negotiating with this or other dealers and went to the Chicagoland to pick up my new car. Dan Stelmach met me and family and showed around. He then proceeded with a fairly comprehensive overview of all CX-5's features and we went on an extensive test drive. Dan's knowledge of the vehicle and his positive attitude and respect to address the customer questions and concerns was very much appreciated. I believe he has an enormous potential and a bright future ahead of him in automotive sales. After the test drive I was ready to sign the papers and that's where I met Nick Hubbs the Finance Manager (he is listed under Sales here for some reason, perhaps he switched jobs recently). My experience with CJ Wilson Mazda of Orland Park dealership started deteriorating quickly as I started speaking with Nick and going through the paperwork. These may have been small things but I felt like being in a game "find all the differences" between what was agreed to via email and what was in the paperwork. A small increase in the promised APR, a small but unnecessary (did not ask for) fee here and there, and triple the cost of title and license documentation Vs. what it cost me at other dealerships or my home State was charging. Now, I did not complain much at that time being tired from the drive (and expecting the drive back home) and Nick Hubbs promising the refund for TTL if they overcharged me. The part that disappointed me even more speaking with Nick was his attitude of indifference or care for the customer. If this was the end of it I would have rated this dealership 3 stars as a minimum possibly 4 out of 5. However it has been now 32 days since I purchased my CX-5 at CJ Wilson Mazda of Orland Park and was issued a temporary license plate, and it will my a second day I will have to drive illegally because Nick Hubbs did not start my paperwork until 3 or more weeks after the purchase. It was not until a week ago that he asked me for a missing copy of my insurance card (he did not even bother reaching out to me directly, he asked someone else to do it) which I emailed him immediately. Nick Hubbs did not care to provide another temporary tag to me either, to ensure I'm not driving in my state illegally. I don't know when they will finish the paperwork for my title and license/registration but now I'm having to drive in fear of being stopped and fined. This dealership has a lot of potential to really differentiate itself from many others, and there are many honest and hard working employees at CJ Wilson Mazda of Orland Park. I am not sure however that they can move forward having employees such as Nick Hubbs who do not care about customer satisfaction or feedback. Even though I did not get a chance to work with "Kris" directly, I do have a strong concern that his leadership is lacking and he is not being proactive in dealing with dissatisfied customers or ineffective employees. At this point, I'm not sure what step to take - reach out to the owner whose name is on the dealership buildings and the website and share my concerns about management oversight at Mazda of Orland Park, or contact the Illinois DMV about a possible violation by the dealership. In summary, be careful with this dealership and see if you can ask someone other than Nick Hubbs to do your paperwork during and after sale. Vlad More

Family Friendly Brandon was great. Dealership is very family friendly. Two under two and they were as efficient as possible and never said a word when my two year old Brandon was great.
