I texted/talked with a sales rep for weeks to reserve a new vehicle. I even put a deposit down on the vehicle to ensure I was able to get what I wanted. He sent me a quote and knew I had a current lease wi new vehicle. I even put a deposit down on the vehicle to ensure I was able to get what I wanted. He sent me a quote and knew I had a current lease with Kia. I was notified when the car arrived and made arrangements to go sign a new lease and pick up the vehicle. Having a current lease through Kia and talking to the sales rep for weeks, I thought the process would be quick and painless. The sales rep didn't have any paperwork prepared and he provided a quote that was $75/month higher than the previous quote. When asked to explain the quote, he had no explanation and had to get a manager. The manager talked around the quote and made it more confusing. We asked simple questions and at some points they just sat there staring at us like they couldn't believe we were questioning their process. It took more than hour to get them to agree to the original quote and the threat of taking the deposit back and going to a different dealership. It took another hour and a half to get through paperwork (that could have been prepared in advance since I'm a current Kia customer, was texting with the sales rep, and even had service several times at this dealership). The vehicle is great overall, but I've leased and purchased cars through other dealerships in the past and will choose those locations in the future. More
