This particular vehicle was brought in for an intermittent rattle. As a gesture of good will, we addressed the customers concerns. When the customer brought the vehicle in for the third time they would not let anyone road test the vehicle to verify the intermittent rattle. The customer gave us two options either we give them all their money back (which they believed would be awarded through the Lemon Law) or we trade them out of their car. The Massachusetts Lemon Law only covers items that impair the vehicle’s use or safety. Since an intermittent rattle doesn’t fall into those guidelines, we offered to take the vehicle in on trade. We offered to take in the vehicle on trade and pay off the loan in full. However this was not good enough, the customer wanted a higher priced car at the same payment. When we told the customer that was not possible, the customer became disruptive and threatened to take legal action through the Lemon Law. Since only challenging this customer’s knowledge of what they believed the law was would only result in them becoming more disruptive, we told the customer that if the vehicle did in fact qualify, that they would get exactly what they were looking for. All we have ever done was try to address the customer’s issues and offer solutions which according to them makes us rude and a horrible place to do business. Keep in mind where the customer states “I have heard nothing but bad things about them and now I see why” that this customer has ALREADY done business with us! I would be happy to address this matter further as long as the customer can come in to the dealership in a less disruptive and more respectful manner. Um no, I told them they were more than welcomed to take the car out for a drive as I even told you two days later. And no you did not offer to pay the loan off in full. There was a balance of over $4,000 that you tried to be sneaky and roll into the new loan. And then after I questioned it many times to Willy is when your sales manager came over and told me you would NOT be paying it off in full. If you had, I would have taken the new car. There was nothing disruptive about the conversation I had with your salesman and manager. So please continue to post lies.
