Vehicle has been at this dealer's service dept multiple times, and has not been fixed. How ironic is this? No one from the service dept is willing to call me, but I did get a call from a Customer Relations person regarding my negative review. Kia Corporate is involved, and I was informed that the service dept does not want to work with me anymore. What? I bought the car here. How is it my fault that they can't fix it? This has been the worst car buying experience of my life. More

Leased a 2022 Kia Sportage here. The car has had continuous problems with no resolution. Car has been at this dealership's service dept 4/5 times. We bought a car there and also purchased an extended warranty. The service department fixed the drivetrain, under warranty, and within 1000 miles the engine blew. BUYER BEWARE! We were interested in a 2024 KIA Carnival and scheduled an appt. to look at it. The internet sales person confirmed it was on the lot since it was an We were interested in a 2024 KIA Carnival and scheduled an appt. to look at it. The internet sales person confirmed it was on the lot since it was an hour drive for us to get there and we didn't want to make the trip for nothing. Once we arrived, we were informed that the vehicle was not there and was still being transported to the dealership. Frustrated, we immediately left. We were shortly contacted by the same internet sales person that apologized and said the owner had used the vehicle and it was instead at the Highland Park Kia. Reluctantly, we decided to make the extra 35 minute drive to look at it there. Once we arrived, it took them a while to locate the car, but once they did, we were very displeased. The owner had taken his family on a trip to Missouri using the van and it was covered in white dog hair, sand, and was covered in fingerprints. It also had 1300 miles on it, but was not advertised as a demo vehicle. The manager sort of apologized and said he could not help what the owner did with the vehicles. He offered to crunch some numbers. What he came back with was well above the advertised price. I had a screen shot of the online price that included a "McGrath discount" and we had also already received the sticker from the online sales person that was below what he was offering. The dealership is falsely advertising the price and then the manager condescendingly acts like we don't understand how car buying works. Please save yourself the time and skip Kia McGrath in Palatine and Highland Park. We wish we had. More
