Purchase experience of 2019 CRV EX L I was made to feel welcome the minute I stepped in the door at McGrath Honda. I had just come from Brilliance Honda in Crystal Lake,IL and my experien I was made to feel welcome the minute I stepped in the door at McGrath Honda. I had just come from Brilliance Honda in Crystal Lake,IL and my experience there was terrible! I felt like I was imposing on everyone there and I walked out. David Pounds was my sales rep at McGrath. He was amazing! As we all know purchasing a vehicle, new or used, can be a very stressful situation. David did a wonderful job of keeping me informed of the progress of my purchase from beginning to end. It was an extremely busy Saturday at the dealership but unlike other sales reps I've run into, he never used that as an excuse to leave me hanging, wondering what was going on. He even offered to go get dinner, his treat, as it was so busy and it was getting late in the day! I ended up hugging him goodbye before I drove away in my new vehicle - that's how well I was treated - he has a true gift for his field! I will definitely recommend McGrath to everyone and I'm looking forward to a great relationship with this dealer!!! More

Deciteful Sales Practices All they care about is meeting their sales goals. They over promise, then once you sign the paperwork, everything changes because in their mind, they All they care about is meeting their sales goals. People start talking differently to you, and then promises become “we will try to follow through.” Follow up is horrible unless they’re trying to pull you in for the sale. Spoke with different dealerships and what I had to deal with broke all sorts of ethical practices. I would be VERY careful if you chose to visit this Elgin’s McGrath location. Personally, I found Valley Honda lightyears ahead in terms of service and customer experience. More
