Overall, Honda McGrath of xx. Charles is a great dealership with plenty of inventory so I was not worried about them selling out of the car and color I wanted. Garry helped me out and I test drove a new civic on a Friday and let him know I was test driving a couple cars that day so wasn’t going to make a purchase that day and he respected that and still gave me great customer service! Went in the following Monday night to buy a civic. Garry was helpful and explained every step of the car buying process and kept me updated on everything that he was doing. It might have been more crowded than usual for a Monday but it took over 4 hours to drive off in the car. When I got to financing, they tried to sell me gap insurance even though I was putting down a large down payment. Once I pointed that out, he agreed I didn’t need gap insurance. I just felt that was a little deceptive trying to get me to purchase additional coverage they knew I didn’t need. But he also noticed the APR was higher than it should be so he got that fixed which I appreciated. More

This was the first time I purchased a car from someone other than a person I knew. Gary was my salesperson and I can't say enough good about him. He helped to make my buying experience a good one. I briefly talked with Lanell the sales manager. I didn't think at one point the sale was going to happen and he assured me all would be ok and it was. I really did get the feeling they were all working for me. I am so grateful all worked out.
