Scheduled service for warranty issues at McGrath Honda in St. Charles, IL. They stated the one warranty issue will require me to agree to pay $185 for them to determine if the issue is indeed covered under w St. Charles, IL. They stated the one warranty issue will require me to agree to pay $185 for them to determine if the issue is indeed covered under warranty. After they look at it and they determine it is covered by warranty, I would not be charged. But if they say it is not covered I lose my $185 or can apply it to the repair. But then they gave me a "Free" checkup with them suggesting $3,000 in repairs. Charging me for them to determine if something is under warranty is disingenuous and has all the appearances of being a scam or moneygrab. More
