The McGrath Automotive Group was founded in 1964. Leo McGrath purchased McBride Buick in Elgin, Illinois after working with Buick Motor Division as a District Sales and Service Manager. His son, Gary McGrath, began working for him at a young age experiencing every aspect of the automotive business. In 1971 Gary purchased the Buick Franchise from Leo and a few years later opened his first Honda dealership next door. Honda in St Charles was later added to better serve the west suburbs. We continue to pride ourselves on treating our customers with respect and honesty.

Highly recommend McGrath Honda and Pete Mattison! My husband and I had some bad experiences with other dealers pushing what they want and their agenda but Pete listened to us and even after we left f My husband and I had some bad experiences with other dealers pushing what they want and their agenda but Pete listened to us and even after we left for other appointments he kept working for us. When we returned he had the perfect car for us at no haggle price that worked within our budget. He suggested a lease would be perfect for our situation and got us into a bigger and more luxurious car than we thought possible! Every car buying experience should be this pleasurable!! More

Piece of sh** dealership with no honor. .. Sleazy sales manager Kevin knew of an existing issue at the time of sale of my vehicle and decided to dishonor the promise to resolve the issue not .. Granted life happens and I was unable to come to into the dealership before the termination of the VO term, but just goes to show customer service is all show and no go... In fact I told them I drove all the way from Florida to get this fix done but they didn't care or wink an eye to help me out when I needed them. They don't care about your business relationship, just know that going in... More
