The McGrath Automotive Group was founded in 1964. Leo McGrath purchased McBride Buick in Elgin, Illinois after working with Buick Motor Division as a District Sales and Service Manager. His son, Gary McGrath, began working for him at a young age experiencing every aspect of the automotive business. In 1971 Gary purchased the Buick Franchise from Leo and a few years later opened his first Honda dealership next door. Honda in St Charles was later added to better serve the west suburbs. We continue to pride ourselves on treating our customers with respect and honesty.

Games, gimmicks and can’t give you basic things you ask for. Go to a different dealer, any dealer. They are worried about todays dollar, not the future dollar. We had a great experience here at McGrath! ! We bought a used car for my teen-age son from Jimmy. We came in a few times to test drive and Jimmy was always polite and understanding as we tried !
