HAVE BEEN TAKING MY CAR ELSEWHERE FOR MONTHS BECAUSE EVERY TIME I TRY TO CERTIFIED USED CAR ONLY TO NOT HONOR THE WARRANTY OR PRE-PAID SERVICE PLANS. HAVE BEEN TAKING MY CAR ELSEWHERE FOR MONTHS BECAUSE EVERY TIME I TRY TO CALL NO ONE GETS BACK TO ME. I AM AUTISTIC AND DISABLED AND THEY TOOK ADVANTAGE OF THAT AND A VERY DESPERATE SITUATION I WAS IN AND HAD I UNDERSTOOD ALL THE RED FLAGS I'D HAVE WALKED OUT. HAD I KNOWN AT 8 MONTHS INTO BUYING THIS CERTIFIED USED CAR I'D HAVE ALL THESE PROBLEMS AND WASTE OF MONEY PLUS THEY SOLD IT TO ME FAR OVER MSRP AND KEPT SAYING "THIS REALLY IS THE LOWEST WE CAN GO" TO US OVER AND OVER AS WELL AS TRYING TO GET US TO PUT 48% DOWN, WHICH I DIDN'T KNOW THE NUMBERS UNTIL MY THERAPIST AND LEGAL AID WORKER EXPLAINED IT TO ME. TOTAL RIP OFF AND WILL SMILE IN YOUR FACE AND LIE LIE LIE TO YOU THE WHOLE TIME, ONLY FOR YOU TO FIND OUT A LOT LATER! IF YOU ARE DISABLED OR ABSOLUTELY NEED A CAR, NOT JUST WANT ONE, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. THIS PLACE IS AWFUL AND I AM NOT THE ONLY ONE I'VE TALKED TO WHOM HAS HAD THE SAME ISSUES WITH THEM. I AM GLAD IM FINDING MORE PEOPLE HAVING THE SAME ISSUES BECAUSE IT JUST BUILDS FOR A WONDERFUL LEGAL CASE AGAINST THEM. DO NOT BUY HERE!!!!!! THEY WILL SCREW YOU OVER AND LITERALLY LIE TO YOU ON PAPER ABOUT THE LENGTH OF YOUR LOAN!!!!!! More
Spent 90 minutes basically twiddling my thumbs as salesman and manager tried to find me a car (I specifically said SUV) to fit my budget. They found 1- only 1. . . What?!? I had a trade in with $10,0 salesman and manager tried to find me a car (I specifically said SUV) to fit my budget. They found 1- only 1. . . What?!? I had a trade in with $10,000 equity but was told that only thing I could possibly get was this 1 car I didn’t want. They could not (or would not) tell me trade value of my car and both appeared annoyed when I asked for this. Repeatedly. Went elsewhere and within 20 minutes had driven exact SUV I wanted- was given great buy out for trade and leased brand new with significantly lower payment. DO BETTER MCGRATH- you seem like crooks! I told Jason exactly what I wanted and he worked hard to find me the perfect Sportage for me. Jason respected me and did not try to get me to purchase the red Sportage that was in their car lot. He knew what I wanted and found me my dream Sportage in Milwaukee. I have recommended Jason to my friends. He is awesome to work with and I appreciated his help in training me on all this Sportage has to offer. Jason deserves a fire-star rating! Thanks, Jason! More

My daughter went in for an oil change and to have her passenger window switch looked at. Told the service advisor it would roll down but was intermittently roll up, After explaining the issue. she receiv passenger window switch looked at. Told the service advisor it would roll down but was intermittently roll up, After explaining the issue. she received her vehicle back telling her it needed a new window motor and regulator. Also the window is now stuck in the down position and they don't have time to do anything about it. She now gets to drive around with her window fully open and unable to secure her vehicle and open to the elements. Really are you kidding me. You left my daughter's vehicle in this condition. What wasn't an urgent repair you have now made it an immediate issue for her. More

Typical Car Dealer - After shopping extensively online within a 500 mile radius for a Kia Telluride, we settle on looking at McGrath as the online price was lower than others, and they were only an hour a within a 500 mile radius for a Kia Telluride, we settle on looking at McGrath as the online price was lower than others, and they were only an hour away. The experience pretty much went downhill from there. Upon arrival we were met at the door by the salesman. His desk was pretty much a table and a computer, and he explained that he normally works at the used car lot, but was filling in at the new car side. He was very friendly, but didn't have the experience to answer any of our questions regarding the new car. I don't blame him for this. He wasn't properly trained to do the job. We finally settled on one and started the "negotation" process. The offer they made for our used car was pretty much offensive for the first round, and they added an "addendum" to the price of the car above and beyond what their website and AutoTrader advertised to the tune of $2000, The addendum, as explained to us, was because the car we were buying was so popular, and there were no used ones available, that this was added in as a markup - essentially supply and demand. Most consumers would view this as price gouging. Two hours later, very much pissed off, and only minimal success in negotiations we agreed to purchase the car on the condition that they detailed it inside and out (lots of grime from various road tests) and fill it up with gas. The sales manager questioned my request to fill it up, and I explained that was my deal breaker out of frustration. It was going to be my one "win" for the day or I walked. He didn't like it, but agreed. We moved to a separate building where we worked with the finance people. As we sat down the gentleman was very friendly and talked up the car with great enthusiasm. Granted my wife and I were exhausted at this point, but he wanted to explain the warranty to us which which we agreed to. Twenty minutes in to this explanation we realized he was trying to sell us an extended warranty. I stopped him and said we were not interested in spending additional money as we were already at the top of our budget. He left the office and came back, then resumed his explanation of the extended warranty package, then shot us a lower price than before. Again, we said no, but he continued with the upsell. I finally stopped him mid-sentence and told him to stop. I didn't want to be rude, but as I waved my hand over the paperwork and said "this is not going to happen. I've said "no" twice now, and if it continues we are leaving". He called his manager whom I could overhear asking if he had done this, or asked that, to which he responded "they don't seem to be interested". There was no "seem" to it; we were done with it. After about another hour we were finally finished with the financing. Totally exhausted and frustrated we couldn't leave fast enough. Our trade in and new car were sitting beside each other so we could get the rest of our belongings transferred to the new car. As we walked up the new car had been washed, but the dealer window sticker, manufacturer stickers, and all the little "helpful tips" stickers inside and out of the vehicle were still on it. The inside had not been touched and was filthy, and the floor mats were not installed. They DID actually fill it up with fuel. Now we were both beyond mad and frustrated. We both said "whatever. Typical" and just got in and left. Also - there is a ton of technology in this car. We received no training / guidance on any of it as I have found other dealers have provided to customers. Pretty much tossed us the keys and we were on our own. I spent four hours of my time cleaning the vehicle, install the mats, and peeling off stickers that are apparently adhered with Gorilla Glue. Figuring out the tech side has been more trial and error, watching YouTube videos, and asking others who own the same car. In all, we arrived at the dealership at 12pm, and drove off the lot at 6:30pm, vowing to never return. Long story short - there is no customer satisfaction here. Don't expect any helpful information in your car purchase unless you want to buy add-ons. If your expectation is to just write the check and drive your car away without feeling like your business was appreciated, needs understood, and that you had some control over your purchase experience, by all means go to McGrath. If you want to experience any of the above, you're better off ordering your brand new car through Costco. At least it will be clean! More
