I had no idea what I wanted to buy. I just knew that my car was ready for the car cemetery. It was pure luck that I found out about Mike LaGiglio in the first place. We live in the city not too far from the dealership, so one day while doing errands with my mom and my sister who told me about Mike, we decided to stop in to meet him at McGrath Lexus on Division and Elston. I had never been in a car dealership showroom before, and I had no expectations. The showroom was brimming with so many amenities I forgot where I was for a brief moment. We were fortunate too that Mike had some time to show us some beautiful used Lexus sedans that afternoon. It was then that I realized that the Lexus was too much car for me, so Mike showed me a Toyota Matrix that was more up my alley. I was tempted, but not convinced. I had a lot of homework to do after that initial meeting, but I also knew that I had met someone who I could trust. In the meantime, I visited the Chicago car show where I was able to whittle my choices down to a few cars that I liked. I have to say that Mike took his time getting to know me and he was extremely patient with me as I muddled through trying to figure out what I wanted. He seemed to have a sixth sense about what I might be looking for. Mike followed up and called me to let me know he didn't forget about me and that he would keep in touch. I did a lot of research online and was leaning heavily toward a Toyota. A few weeks later, I got another call from Mike. He wasn't sure, but he thought I might be interested in a 2012 Toyota Corolla trade-in that had just arrived. The universe must have been telling me to buy that car because my old car just conked out on me completely. It would not start. It sat in the garage for two days. I had no choice. My sister and her husband came with me to see Mike's Toyota. I took one look at this beauty and I knew it was My Car. Thank you, Mike (and, of course, Matt and Doug). You made it easy for me. The sales people are very knowledgable about their vehicles and NOT pushy. Despite my coming to the dealership later in the day, close to closing time, all the folks I dealt with there were very patient with me and prepared my vehicle thoroughly, and never acted rushed to go home. Thanks to Jack Martell's great customer service, I am very pleased with my overall experience at McGrath Lexus. From the beginning Jack was great to deal with and very knowledgeable about Lexus and the very pleased with my overall experience at McGrath Lexus. From the beginning Jack was great to deal with and very knowledgeable about Lexus and the particular model I ended up purchasing. To be honest, the Lexus brand pretty much sells itself and I would have loved the car no matter what dealership I was at. However, it was the little things that Jack went above and beyond on that have compelled me to write this review. Firstly, after a long night of wheeling and dealing he took more time out of his night to give me a ride home. Secondly, after the deal was done I realized I never received a spare key so Jack reached out to the previous owner and was able track down the spare! Considering he had already made the sale I was extremely impressed that he went the extra mile to make sure he took care of the customer. My experience at McGrath Lexus Chicago was really quite pleasant. It has been awhile since we have bought a new car. Our sales person Julie felt like a partner that advocated for us. In the end we were introduced to Nick Novelli, the delivery specialist, whom after we finalized the details of the purchase begin to walk us thru all of the every day functions of our new car, and there are a lot. Nick was very knowledgeable and went slow enough for my wife and I to understand everything. We would recommend them. Don't know how soon we will be buying another new car but this experience will make us come back sooner. More

However Julie made sure that all of the paperwork was ready when I arrived to pick up my car. Instead of spending 5 hours getting everything done, it took about 2 hours.
