I originally stopped by McGrath Lexus of Chicago in the market for a used Lexus IS-F. As it is a limited production vehicle, I did not expect to be very successful with finding the exact car I was looking market for a used Lexus IS-F. Within thirty seconds of walking in the front door, David had welcomed me and asked how he could be of assistance. As with most car sales people, my guard immediately went up, but gave him a chance. I briefly explained what I was looking for, and David told me that he had exactly what I wanted right around the corner - a black 2012 IS-F that had a few miles on it, but was never titled. The fact that this car was basically new made me slightly uncomfortable, as I was not expecting to purchase this vehicle new. I then proceeded to jump on my iPhone, and checked a few dot com car sites for other options in the area. To my dismay, this was the only remaining "new" IS-F within at least 200 miles of Chicago. To me this immediately meant that I would more than likely be paying a premium price for the convenience; luckily this was not the case at all. Not only was my experience with David absolutely pressure-free, he also worked closely with Larry to make sure I got an extremely fair deal on the new car, as well as my high-mileage Porsche Cayenne GTS trade-in. Both David and Larry talked me through all my options, and clearly explained their rationale behind the numbers without any added BS. Once I finally decided to pull the trigger, they handed me off to Doug to run the finances. Doug is a true professional. By the time I walked into his office, he had already laid out all the possible scenarios to present me with. Doug was able to lock me into a great rate, and made sure to get me down to the monthly payment I was asking for when I first walked into his office; I didn't even have to ask twice. After finalizing the numbers, the team connected me with Maria to get me acclimated with my new car. Maria is a true sports car enthusiast, and it shows. I honestly could not tell if I was more excited about my new car than she was - I definitely appreciated her passion and excitement. She took the time to walk me through all the features and functionality with great detail. She shared her ownership experience (as she too is an IS-F driver,) and some extremely beneficial tips and tricks to making the most of the vehicle. She also supplied me with her direct contact information, and has been phenomenally responsive since day one - constantly checking in, and going above and beyond her job to make sure that I am pleased with my newly acquired IS-F. Overall, the team at McGrath provided me with one of the best purchase experiences I have ever had buying a car. I will definitely be returning here for my next car, and plan to highly recommend the team to any friends and family that may be in the market. More

I entered McGrath Lexus needing a car, but planning on visiting many dealerships and test driving many cars. I was introduced to Rick Farbo, told him what I was looking for, and he picked out one car tha visiting many dealerships and test driving many cars. It fit what I was looking for perfectly, 2 years old and less than 20,000 miles (to be fairly new but still save a significant amount on the price), in great condition and Lexus Certified. We test drove it. Rick made it clear that I could drive it where I wanted and for as long as I wanted, and that I could look at as many cars as I wanted. The car was a dream. The quoted price was better than fair; for what I was getting, it was less that what others were charging. Rick took the time to answer all my questions, and we looked at all the websites necessary to obtain all the information that I needed. He was fully helpful, as well as courteous and polite, and put no pressure on me. After we made the deal, Jeff explained to me what other options I had, how I should treat the car, etc. Then I met with Doug for final issues and the paperwork. Rick then drove me to Hertz to return my rental car and then home to pick up my checkbook. Maria then showed me how to use my "New" car. Each of these people took the time to make sure that I knew everything that I should know, that I was totally comfortable and that I was totally pleased with the way that I was treated. I know that I ask a lot of questions, that I think about issues that do not concern many others,and so I can seem difficult to some people. At no time did I feel anything other than that I was a good and valuable person and customer. I do not expect or want to be fawned over, but I do want and demand to be treated honestly, courteously and fairly, and I was so treated by each of the people at Lexus McGrath. More
