Scott Raymonnd was very accommodating. I called following a listing on autotrader.com. He was a lot more about my needs than his, a rare trait. Chris also gave me the friendliest shoeshine ever. I believe it was Craig who went over the car's functions with me. He was great. After I flew in and crabbed over to the wrong dealership, Scott was not phased even though he came in early to meet me. He went out of his way to make sure I was comfortable and get the paperwork completed as quick as possible. A service rep at the Chicago store got Willy, a long time employee, to shuttle me to the Westmont store. That was a very enjoyable ride. Willy, Scott, and another unknown associate talked very positively about the McGrath organization. After spending a few hours there, I knew their feelings were genuine and well founded. More

By chance I met for the first time Mr. Lawson yesterday 8-10-2012 while eyeballing the 2012 ES 350 and drove away today 8-11-2012 with my new Deep Sea Mica ES 350 2012 Lexus. I located a great looking used Lexus on McGrath's Internet sales page. The information and high-quality pictures of the car made it easy to see that the car was for me and would easily fill a need t Internet sales page. However, I never purchased a used car, or any car for that matter, in this fashion. Needless-to-say, I had some doubts and was more than just a little nervous about moving forward, but I did. Now, after the fact, I must confess that buying a car from the McGrath dealership was the best car-purchasing experience of my life. This was due, in large part, to one person - Mr. Mel Owens. From my very first call to the actual moment the keys were handed over after the sale, Mel Owen's caring personality and professionalism were consistently top-drawer. He thoroughly answered all of my questions, and, even though my purchase was not for one of the more expensive vehicles in the company's fleet, Mel made me feel like I was buying one of the them, and without one moment of over-the-top sales hype. He was long-suffering with my numerous questions (often repeating them) and clearly understood, acknowledged in his own way, and put to rest any reservations about buying a car unseen. Mel's integrity really came through in how he handled all aspects of this sale. Now, for some unexpected icing on the cake and what I consider the read story-maker! The totally unexpected example of Mel's dedication to his customers was demonstrated when at the eleventh hour, when the person who was going to make the trip to Westmont with me for the purchase could no longer go with me. I had no other person who could make the trip and I was certain that the entire deal had to be called off. However, I must have forgotten with whom I was working! Once again, Mel came through by offering to personally driving the car to my location in Iowa. I do not believe that this offer was done so that a sale could go through. This was not that expensive of a purchase. What was behind Mel's offer to do this was that Mel clearly knew how much I wanted the car, he heard the disappointment in my voice when I called him about having to cancel my trip, and he made the decision to drive to my hometown the very next day for the delivery. I might also add that Mel's charming wife accompanied him and that meant that both Mel and his wife got up at 2:00 a.m. on a Sunday morning and drove for seven hours to make the delivery at the promised 9:00 a.m. time. Outstanding! Where do you find such dedication and service this days? Well, I know of one place - McGrath Lexus of Westmont! Without a single doubt or hesitation, I would recommend making your next Lexus purchase from this dealership and I would highly recommend discussing your purchase with Mr. Mel Owens.
