Went to both Orland Lexus as well as Cadillac on this same day after looking for months on line. Neither of the other locations seemed interested in selling me a vehicle or couldn't be bothered. Sounds strange these days, but I find that many places still view a woman shopping alone still needs the approval of her husband so nothing is going to happen that day. They would both be diasspointed to know that I didn't. It is too bad because I was a serious consumer with every intention of purchasing immediately. I had cold-called Lexus in Westmont and was fortunate to be connected with Rita Barkstrom. Rita listened on the phone and when I arrived on that Saturday (without any appt), she was with another client. What I liked most was that another sales associate was willing to step in and assist until Rita was free. That shows true professionalism in sales and a confidence in staffing. The teamwork is what I find impressive because at the end of the day, even though the sales person is receiving the commission, it is for the betterment of the dealership as a whole. That says alot about their leadership. Once Rita was free she spent a great deal of time with me and when I left I felt very confident that we would close the deal on a new car once we both obtained the information we needed.
