Bad Experience!!! This was my first time purchasing a car from a dealership. I was having troubles with my Jeep Cherokee and decided to trade it in. First I search the website to see what type of vehicle was available in their used inventory section and I found a car that I wanted and I call and they said the car was still available. The same day I got there the car wasn’t there anymore. Said they just sold it, they then begin to show me some other cars. I didn’t like any of the cars so they bought around a Durango. I test drove the car and notice a few minor things I thought was wrong with the vehicle. Again this is my first time and I really wanted a vehicle. I told them that I wanted the truck but they needed to fix the windshield wipers because the motor had went out in it, and they needed to clean it up and check the fluids and oil. They said they would call me when the vehicle is ready for me to pick it up; I went ahead and sign all the paperwork. I waited three days to get my truck (That should have been a sign then) once I got the truck it was driving fine. Within two weeks something was wrong with my truck. Thank God I had a warranty on my truck and was able to fix it. To make a long story short within a year I had to give my truck back because it stayed in the shop more than I could drive it. I know I had ten different loaner cars due to my truck being in the shop. I called and spoke to several different guys to see about switching to get another vehicle and they told me that I would have to pay $3000 down because I was upside down on my car. I wasn’t able to pay car payments and pay to get my car fixed as well, because after so many miles the warranty was gone and most of my miles came from driving back and forth to take the truck to the shop at McKinney Dodge. Due to this it has affected my credit score because I have car repossession. I did appreciate them giving me a car loaner; I just wish they would have allowed me to purchase the car loaner as much I drove them. More

Yes, they are sales people but sales pitches and techniques just put many of us off. Michael was easy going and let my wife and I look at many vehicles and test drive a couple. I also appreciated that he did not hound me on the phone. He really allowed me to shop at my convenience and was always available to answer questions. Michael and McKinney Dodge Ram also went above and beyond to earn our business. I am ex-military. McKinney not only matched the best price I could find through USAA, they beat it. Joan Barrett was also very helpful when she was needed. We will be back to purchase a Jeep Cherokee Unlimited for my wife within the next couple of months. More

So, I was pleasantly surprised by our first purchase from McKinney Dodge. The sales staff, including our primary salesperson, Mike Henry, was very friendly and helpful during my initial call to the dealership and our two visits to the lot leading up to our purchase. From shopping to negotiation to finalizing the deal, there was a noticeable absence of sales games or pressure. Ours was simply the way a sales transaction should go, and we received what we felt was a reasonable deal. Since the sale, the folks at McKinney have remained responsive, both in getting a rebate processed quickly for us and in arranging to have a couple of minor issues that popped up with our new car addressed. McKinney left us with a very favorable impression. More
