Everything started out great.......Purchased a used 2019 Ford Expedition Max 2 a little over 2 weeks ago. I thought the salesman and the sales manager were really nice and the buying process was quick and e Ford Expedition Max 2 a little over 2 weeks ago. I thought the salesman and the sales manager were really nice and the buying process was quick and easy. But, once I drove it off the lot, I suddenly became completely unimportant to everyone at the dealership. Less than 24 hours after I purchased it, the list of things that I was misinformed about kept getting longer, so I contacted them and told them I wanted to bring it back. I live 2 hours away, so "just coming in" wasn't that easy - I needed to know whether they were willing to work with me. I was told the vehicle had several things it did not have. Was told aftermarket things could "just be removed" which, as it turned out, could not. Vehicle was advertised as having a MPG for a regular model of this vehicle (17-23MPG) - Average MPG for THIS vehicle is 12.5MPG, tops. This vehicle was a 600hp twin turbo engine that, although was noted ON the vehicle, was described to me as just a "better, stronger, version of the old Expedition," with some great power and not as a racecar, which it comparitively was. (My husband wasn't with me to break it all down, so I believed the guys). I paid for a 2019 Ford Expedition MAX XLT. What I got was a 2019 Ford Expedition MAX XLT SVT Cobra edition. Legal issue? I was told the Cobra emblems were just aftermarket emblems - they are not. I did NOT know that this was actually a rare special model of this vehicle; The SVT Cobra edition was never once mentioned to me and it wasn't noted anywhere in any part of my sales contract. Shame on me for not being more thorough as to verify when I was told it had something. Shame on them for selling me this vehicle as a true family car. I had to get rid of it for safety concerns and to get into a family vehicle that was large enough and had all the things I needed and wanted; I ended up selling it and took an $8000 hit less than two weeks after buying it because I couldn't get a response with confirmation from the dealership on whether they would honor the full price in a return. Terrible, terrible after service, nearly two weeks of getting bounced from this person to that person and only got one good response from a manager after I sent an email informing the dealership I had contacted my attorney. Never heard back from him after his first kneejerk response....... Heaven help anyone who has any issues with a used vehicle after buying from them. I ended up purchasing a brand new Chevy Tahoe two weeks after that sale at a different Chevrolet dealer. I've never in my life experienced such a disappointing level of customer service as I have with McLoughlin Chevrolet. Wouldn't have wasted my time on a review, but keep receiving emails from the company begging me to review my experience. So, now you have it. More

Excellent experience getting vehicle serviced. Night and day from previous visits before staffing changes. Kayla is always wonderful to work with. She always goes above and beyond, including calling to ask day from previous visits before staffing changes. Kayla is always wonderful to work with.
