I will never take any of my vehicles to McLoughlin Chevrolet for service again. I took my Equinox to McLoughlin Chevrolet with a coolant leak. They said the water pump was leaking and that it would Chevrolet for service again. I took my Equinox to McLoughlin Chevrolet with a coolant leak. They said the water pump was leaking and that it would cost $1,600 to replace a $387.80 water pump. They said the reason for the high cost was the water pump was $500 and they had to take a lot of things off to get to it. I reluctant but said okay. I found out they lied about the cost of the water pump at $500. They called me and said the Equinox was done and the cost is $2,200. $2,200 to replace a $387 water pump. They never called me saying the cost had increased to $2,200. It took 4 days to complete. Stay away from this place. More
